  11. Say it with me everyone. Team Cherry will likely go there own way and do their own thing with the release date of Silksong, and if the release date is ever in reach of being met (which it is not at this point in time but may be soon, my prediction is end of April end of may or End of August). There is NO WAY IN HELL! Team Cherry would let ANYONE! ESPECIALLY! Nintendo near the date. Why you may ask? Well I will explain.
    1. Leth (Team Cherry's PR guy) Has said many times that the reason Team Cherry revealed Silksong to the public when they did is because they were worried about it leaking. 2. Nintendo has messed up with their langue around Silksong. At the Silksong Nintendo Tree House demo of E3 2019. The presenter ladies say "Silksong is coming soon" and " The game is wrapping up development" and as anyone with two eyes and a brain can see we are in in February of 2021 with no Silksong to speak of. Leth Has said that the coming soon and the game is swrapping up langue was Nintendo's wording not Team Cherry's.
    3.Nintendo has caused other confusion by. Putting Silksong on various "Nintendo Roadmaps", Putting Silksong in Various fiscal year reports, and most egregiously there was the time Silksong accidently got put into the coming soon tab of a few EU and UK Nintendo E-shops ironically and purely by dumb luck and shier coincidence 2 weeks before Silksong's " 'leaked' place holder release date" of June 12 2020.
    So putting it all together. Team Cherry is paranoid about leaks. Anyone who has been a long time fan of Hollowknight knows this, this is why the Silksong demo has not gone public and why Team Cherry prefers to stay quite about the game. Nintendo is not very air tight when it comes to stopping leaks of any kind and has made several big mistake around Silksong in the past. So unless Leth is doing shadowy work behind the scenes to coordinate the launch with Nintendo. Which is not likely because lining a direct or indie world up with Team Cherry's "notoriously" short time frames between the reveal of the the release date and the actual launch, is very difficult if not impossible. Leth has even said "I don't know when directs are or what will be in them".
    This all leads to one conclusion which is Team Cherry will more than likely go there own way and do their own thing with the release date of Silksong
