During the Nintendo Direct over 20 games were announced for the Switch with many of them working to fill out the first half of 2021 for Nintendo. Today I wanted to take a look at the the confirmed games for the year so far and see how Nintendo’s year is shaping up.

Seeing mario golf gives me some hope for a new mario super sluggers or remaster
Monster Hunter Rise is quite huge in China and Korea too
I’m seriously disappointed in the Switch. It seems like it’s aimed at little kids, as are most handheld IMO. I don’t care for the handheld experience, and in fact I always play mine connected to the TV. The storage limitations make it inferior to the Wii U, which I consider Nintendo’s best offering since Game Cube. The Wii was silly unless you enjoy playing while standing up. I’d like to see another serious console to compete with PS4 / PS5. My Switch doesn’t get used much; I’ve all but abandoned it in favor of PS4. Better graphics, better controller, bigger games.
$60 for a single remaster is just way too greedy for me to justify. If it had been Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker included in the package then it'd be a bit more reasonable. I won't be buying it until the price comes down significantly.
Triangle Strategy demo is incredible! I hope the main game is as incredible as the demo.
dont forget E3……
Story of Seasons and Harvest Moon side-by-side in March. Oh my, which is the real Harvest Moon?
(Hint: It's actually Story of Seasons. Trademark laws are dumb, sometimes.)There is essentially only one franchise that is interesting. That is anything Zelda. And what Nintendo does? They release a remaster of a game nobody asked for, just like the last year. We want Twilight Princess and Ocarina of time, maybe Windwaker. Not this crap
Where is mario super sluggers :((
Why would you think Diablo II wouldn't make it to Switch??? Diablo III says Hello to you kind Sir!!!
D2 — or PC…?
we didn't get Mario Kart 9 I'm sad
July! LOL.. It’s almost like there’s two other Zelda games that could be coming out that month… hrmmmmmmmmmm…I wonder what they are??
Just give me my xenoblade x port
This lineup is seriously already better than last year. So hyped for this year!
Nintendo needs to give us a real home console along side the switch one that can do games justice
I can't wait until they make an official announcement for the Diamond and Pearl remake.
According to Pokemon Centre………….
The remakes are slated for an official announcement in February(02/25 or 02/26/2021), with the game releasing around November(11/??/2021) of this year.
I just hope Diablo 2 is Resurrected and not 𝑅𝑒𝒻𝑜𝓇𝑔𝑒𝒹
I can't wait for Diablo 2
Knock Out City's logo looks like the Jet Set Radio logo and it just makes me want jet set radio to be rereleased please nintendo or microsoft do the very intensely small community a solid and rerelease that bad boy
As it currently stands my most anticipated game of 2021 in terms of Nintendo (& really overall) is the Sinnoh Remakes (Although they are not announced yet, it's my assumed top game of 2021).
Disgea 6, Monster Hunter stories 2, spelunky 2, Neo: the world's end with you … Are some summer games announced already for summer. And there is a killer list of indies like hollow knight: silksong and Baldo that will launch on switch and PC or some that are switch first that look interesting too. I think I will find something new to play thru August as it is.
The Switch 2021 lineup is boring so far. JRPGs and Recycled Nintendo games. Can't believe fans are going to buy Skyward Sword, a game that came out over a decade ago, for full price. Especially when emulating it is so easy, there is really no reason to buy this game.
Jet Set Radio and Future. Bundled on switch. Someone needs to make that happen!
My Nintendo switch is on its way as of today and I’m not gonna lie .. looks like I got one just in time . Haven’t had Nintendo since the cube . I got Ps5 snd Xbox series X but oh my .. this video has me ready Spawn . Thanks for the video . So far I have the pro controller and Mario kart 8. I’ll grab for sure .
GIVE ME MORE RHYTHM HEAVEN NINTENDO
Is that sarcasm? It’s a lot of ports and mobile games. I am excited for the next Story of Seasons and for Diablo 2 Resurrected though! I am surprised you made no mention of SoS. It is the first proper “Harvest Moon” on Switch. That Harvest Moon you mentioned is not legit, and does not look good
This makes me glad I have a backlog.
Diablo II better not be 60bucks… i ain't paying 60bucks for an abandonware.
Yo kai watch 4 pls 😭
People in 2020 : This year was dull Nintendo gonna rock 2021.
People in 2021 : uh maybe 2022
Im Still waiting for metroid prime
Don’t they usually release a Nintendo direct around the time of E3? So I mean there’s a rough timeline you can be working with for future announcements.
Legend of Mana on Nintendo Switch. May 2021.
None of the third party games count. There isn't a lot coming so far, so there is a lot of space to fill.
Man, watching this vid, then looking at the comments on games that weren’t mentioned has me hyped! My wallet will be hurting this year, especially if Stadia gets some good games as well
4:40 and all that shit? lol
When can I get my Metroid Prime 1-3 release that doesn’t use crap motion controls @nintendo
Really hoping for Pokemon 25th Anniversary that they are making a Diamond and Pearl remake (and that it is a full *remake*, not just a little *remaster*)
Still no metroid prime 4
and usually second half of the year looks always better than the first one
spelunky 1 and 2 are also coming for the switch
Hi! I think you’ll love my predictions, check it out 🙂 so sadly I’m pretty sure they will delay Breath of the Wild 2, probably because Nintendo are perfectionists and because they’ll want to launch it with the New Switch 4K upgrade March 2022. But I’ll leave it on the list below because I’m not so sure:
June – We will get the first big trailers of both Zelda and Metroid in June or July.
July – Skyward Sword HD and Pokémon Unite
August – Monster Hunter Stories 2
September – Pokémon Gameboy remakes for Switch
October – Samus Returns Switch port (a good one by the original developers Mercury Steam)
November – Breath of the Wild 2
December – New Donkey Kong Country or even Donkey Kong Country Racing made by Retro! It hasn’t been announced yet, but I’m sure they are finishing up that, and working on Metroid as a two game studio now.
I could go on and on. It’s fun to make predictions 😊
I’m really excited about the Famicom Detective Club games!
They know they can't produce switch pro yet with the semi conductor shortage.
Looks better than 2019's first half. See there are some games left out.
We need an F zero…
