As a PC player I thank you for shedding light on console aim assist as a console player yourself.
You've shown that you absolutely can be great at apex on controller without aim assist. I hate that when most PC players come across controller players they discount all skill immediately, but there's a truth there that no matter how you try n flip it, its literally unnatural aim assistance. Its like butter n margarine, they might be similar at first glance, but they're different.
No, its not aimbot, but it can sometimes be the deciding factor of a fight. I personally think it should be nerfed a little though, it IS frustrating dying to little timmy whos level 8 and only played fps games for a couple weeks hahaha
Bruh always wanted to ask how in the hell you aim so well on Apex bruh WTH are you on it's like you can have a consistent steady shot from a distance but when I do it I'm trash lol

I solo queued to platinum without aim assist, but I didn't know that aim assist was in the game in the first place and it was automatically turned off for me ever since I started playing the game back in Season 2.

If you nerf aim assist you only nerf the better players people who are just starting out don't know how to use it properly it just makes the game more even Except for mouse and keyboard players who get to use their whole arm to aim you can't nerve that no amount of aim systems can even compete with tha Mouse and keyboard is like cheating when playing against controllerst

Tbh I think console aim assist needs to be nerfed. I don't like the fact that its stronger in the first place and console players would've coped just fine with .4 aim assist if it was there from the start

No aim assist is great for fixing thumb movement mechanics .. as shown, it's possible , practice, that's all. Also remind MnK players about our dead zones and response curves when they talking about aim assist. They have no idea what that battle even is.

I don't know the debate about turning off alc's turns back on aim assist and too lazy to test it myself but if you for real and make it to masters with no aim assist on controller then FUCK ME, can't even make it to diamond with aim assist on console (which i assume are easier lobbies)
