Will it resemble Star Wars Galaxies is my question. Will there be an open world sandbox type of play with PVP? It should have multiple profession lines, an in game economy and crafting that is extensive and meaningful. Weaponsmiths, armorsmiths, creature handlers, jedi, smugglers etc… you get the picture.
This is the first time that I’ve heard it’s going to be story-driven. Now I’m getting very skeptical. Being story-driven kind of defeats the idea of an open-world game IMO.

oh yeah more than likely sense this star wars game is coming from ubisoft it will actually get created and released unlike alot of star wars games that were supposed to be created and released by ea but got canned for whatever reason oh yeah and sense bethesda is making the indiana jones game it will actually happen as well

This is great news! I just hope you won't need internet connection to play the game…Both The Crew and The Division are 'online only' games (aka live service) and I don't like the idea that this Star Wars game is going to be 'online only' as I don't like online games in general…

It doesn’t have to be the one by Ubisoft but I would love to have a open world game set in the clone wars era where you can be a clone/Jedi/droid/sith any character involved in the period from episode 2 geonosis war through the war of kashykk and play the different wars and events and side missions from the movies and clone wars show
So we will get downgraded graphics, boring gameplay and micro transaction and forced to play on the poopisoft store. This isnt good news lol

I'm so glad EA's exclusivity to make games in the star wars universe is over. Please Disney, don't ever make an exclusivity deal ever again with the Star Wars brand.
Overall I like the look of the High Republic everything from the robes, lightsaber hilts colors styles, look of the ships, the way the Jedi temple looks in concept art the characters look beautiful that fact that it’s said to be a time when all light side abilities are known is amazing to me as I’m a Jedi fanboy especially the Jedi from the old republic and the high Republic seems to be painting them as divine and all the intricate patterns white holds browns of the robes it all just looks gorgeous. I hope that open world Star Wars game takes place in the old republic but also takes some visual inspiration from the High Republic. I would also like the see the time period when they Jedi and Sith were the Je’daii, back when they had blades and not lightsabers. Hope they put full on customization for robes lightsaber colors hilts rpj type mastery of force abilities and lightsaber forms and what types of lightsabers to have maybe they can put Kreia’s three lightsaber fighting style as a choice
Division looks so detailed that you can't even hop in a vehicle… lame. any way Lucas better call Rockstar to make a real quality open world online game.

Star Wars off line open world battle modes and Star Wars Bf3 rumor that might want to add in bf3 game for all consoles in futures.
I want see come back creating a class station mode is to create different rebel head faces to unlock for points and different imperial storm troopers armor suites and imperial helmets change color and bring back select tons of weapons from Star wars 2015 game to be in the new Bf3 game.
Thus is what I want to see from Ubisoft.
People are either being misled or their definition of Open World is wrong. The hype machine is in full gear. Open world games are EVE, WOW, SWG, EverQuest I and II, etc…what we'll likely get is another SWTOR made by UbiSoft. By the way EA used the exact same verbiage when they introduced SWTOR.
