the tutorial bird tells you to kill the boss sooner when your less prepared
you want to make a shield to go with your 1 hander, also most weapons have an alternate attack mode pressing middle mouse button, you can throw the spear or use a power attack with a melee weapon.

At 17:37 you past a stone structure thingy to your right, try to dig the area inside this stone's.
Sneaking and shooting the bow or using the flint knife will hit for crit damage on your first shots.
first, the boss was so easy because you were overgeared but also because (imo) the first boss is a bit to weak
you can put marker on your map ! also you keep walking on copper iron, you need to melt that tin to make bronze bars! Great serie so far !
I'm super far ahead so I won't give any spoilers but you are in for a treat. There is so much more to explore, build and experience. At this point I'd recommend leaning what foods do what and whats best for stam, hp, etc. This game is also very fun in multi-player. I'll always gladly accept an invitation should you ever decide to offer one. 😁

Hugin: Don't go into the Black Forest until you've defeated Eikthyr to prove you're ready!
Broadbent: Goes straight into Black Forest and kills trolls for troll armor, THEN goes after Eikthyr to prove his worth.
Btw, get the Troll hide cape as well – you'll get a set bonus for 25% more sneakyness (and it looks good).

I also thought the first boss was too easy compared to the second. I don't know if that's by design or not. Maybe trick you into believing the second boss fight will not be that tough.
