*Understanding comms & bottom right text* // This goes for all of our videos. You will notice the bottom right either has text or an image of the appropriate rank. This tells the viewers what COMMS they are listening to! For example if it’s Bronze red, you are listening to the Bronze team which is on the red-side. This helps you keep track while watching!

*Understanding Dynamic Nerfing & Game Balance* // This goes for all of our videos. You may realize that sometimes the 1 immortal or radiant has more money, shields, etc. Or the enemies have light shields, reduced economy, etc. This is why most of our videos are close matches. They are balanced to the teeth. This means rule-sets are set in place to create fair gameplay for everyone involved. Sometimes we do this “dynamically”. For example: Maybe a low ranked team would start with pistol only, then get a specter and light shield. After switching sides they maybe can full buy, etc, etc. This gives a sense of suspense to the video as the opposing team would slowly face an increasing challenge!

  1. Just to clear a few things up, I'm really good friends with Shoko, and there are a few reasons he didn't play super well during this 1v1. First of all, he's an Astra main who never play's duelists, so he doesn't have as good of aim as some other radiant and immortal players. Second, (this is probably the biggest reason,) they were playing on central servers, so he went from playing on around 16 ping, up to 70+ ping, which is a pretty large jump. Third, he played sports somewhat competitively, and from it he gained an issue with his arms where he can't do fine motor movements that well until he warms his arm muscles up, which takes a while, and he didn't warm up before this, causing him to not play super well. He's actually really good, (compared to me at least,) there's just external factors that caused issues with his play during this match. No need to blatantly hate on him, try to keep respectful discussion in the comments. Thank you!

P.S: I feel like I need to state this, he did not ask me to write this, I decided to after I saw that some commenters were bashing him for not playing well.

  2. I have two comments,

on behalf of the silver, no frickin way he’s silver, at least platinum. The crosshair placement, reaction time, audio cues awareness, dynamically changing his approach (sometimes excessively aggressive, other times cautious and waiting for the right moment) as well as a respectable aim/flicking ability, and not trash talking/getting easily tilted make him a formidable opponent. If he’s silver, ELO hell is a real thing and I’m scared of it :/

About the radiant, just talking about his aim, he has a pretty above average skill, pretty good for a diamond 3, for radiants… I think I was expecting more consistency on things like spray recoveries and flicking. Apart from that, he displays all the other characteristics of a radiant, he was extremely aware of many different approaches his enemy might be taking, played strategically depending on the gun he had, and even on rounds I thought the silver had bested him tactically, he was cautious and looking at the weird angles the opponent MIGHT be at, my guess is he’s probably a smoker or a sentinel more after than not.

Great match, GG, I’m scared of that silver, I would get shit on
