The changes although subtle absolutely bang
little things like skid and pumps "ah ha" and Pico's desperation shown in the instrumental before bf fully corrupts again just help add a little more flavour and help break up the song
also the slight changes to the vocals help differentiate it even more
And dont even get me started on when MM turns
no more fanfare that shows how hopeless it is
DD doesnt even give them a chance and starts fighting for his life like he means it also his little second wind before the wind down at the end is nice to show that he is trying
Overall, some small changes that help the song feel a hell of a lot more impactful despite the original already doing this so well
