They did say there were no plan for DLC unless people ask and really want it.
I watched mynameisbyf's lore video before going in and it really made it really interesting. I haven't had any issues with stuttering or server issues. Camera smoothing is in the menu now. People should have realized that launch days are often not the most smooth days and even much larger companies have had much worse issues. Its is a AA game with AAA hype.
I really like how you can have a cohesive powerful build really early on, you don’t have to wait until end game
I am enjoying the game, when its not bugging out. The world level selection is great for those days you just want a "Power Fantasy" run. I do hope the devs fix the servers.
I treat this game how I treat doom I don't really play for the story I play for the fun mechanics and fast paced action, sometimes I just wanna switch off and play rather than focus on a story

diablo and wow players like it … because of rifts and mythiq dungeons simulation? Oh lord…. all "REAL" Diablo and WoW Players from start hate this shit. As like Outriders is again an wolcen-like instant dead born game.

I’ve been having a great time with this game so far. That being said, there are some issues absolutely. For me, the screen shake is 100% fixed. There are a couple setting you need to change but the cut scenes are actually bearable now. As for day one launch issues, I really wish people would lighten up a bit. There isn’t one goddamn game in the last 5 years that’s had a good launch day. I don’t understand why folks don’t get this. But the core gameplay loop is really fun, like you said. About as close to Diablo as one can get in a looter shooter. This game, I think, is a great first step in to a bigger world. Who knows, if they can get issues sorted out and this game is popular enough, we may get sequels that have better level designs, better dialogue, and a bit more polish. But for what I paid, I’m having a great time and I’m still in the levelling process.
This game is not for solo players I tried to do the demo but as soon as I got to the first boss I got just demolished there's no way to replenish health
If i had to sum up the story, there are WAY too many cut scenes in the game. We need less story, more game play! go watch a movie or read a book

Kind of just looks like mindless unsatisfying shooting. Nothing really tactical or dynamic about any of it by the looks of it.

Personally i had a bug that fucked up with my graphic.
Found no one else with this issue online.
Even tried the game in 4K , ultra and had trouble seeing the eyes of character.
The image was so unsharp i couldn't stand it any longer.
What world tier are you on?
Who else was getting booted over and over and over last night?
More expeditions and/or maps with dense monster packs and a boss to farm, that offers zone specific "low drop chance" special loot drops.
Pile those up & this game could go on for a very long time. Without something like that (possibly a trade economy as well) IDK how long I'll play the expeditions.
Very fun game though.
Always online for this kind of game was a stupid decision that ultimately served no one.

I'm having fun with it. Hopefully the unfuck the performance and connectivity. It will be great after that.
I don't have a ton of time in the game yet, but so far it's fun. Not perfect but it's fun so I can't complain.
Great review and straight to the points and nothing but gameplay video. I appreciate reviews like this. I purchased on steam but kind of glad I can't play it yet as I'm out of town. Want to see how things flesh out over the next few days. It's probably not going to have the staying power of open world games like the division 2 and destiny 2, because we are in an age where people want multiplayer open world live service games, but I'm still excited to dive in
I wouldn't say it's on the devs but I would say it's on the publisher if this does well or not. SE put more attention into Avengers as their main looter shooter and the dev team messed that up. PCF is going all in on support but since they don't have dedicated servers, since they're budget was probably smaller in comparison to Avengers we get some of the issues we have now. SE is gonna make a ton off this from sales and the gamepass deal so I see them giving it was more cash and support so things should work out.

My 2cents, I disagreed with "gear set" its a wasted of art assets imo, how things looks is always subjective so for the longest time the gear tier system never made sense to me. Just look at mmo for example the so called "end game gear set" which most if not all player eventually end up looking like clones. So again gear set and gear tier is a waste of art asset.
edit; They also said this game don't need internet to play, guess thats a lie, the fact you need to sign in in order to play tells me this is full BS, that also tells me the reason why its shuttering probably due to spyware/DRM, again you are free to called it anything you like, but the fact its there at all is also proven to me Outriders is not a good dev/company.
I hope more endgame content arrives quick, otherwise its gonna get boring really quick
Wanted to play with my bros yesterday, did not happen…. server issues and other launch BS… went to play some runs on Remnant, was still very very good fun! Still recommending this as a good alternative!
i think you should be able to switch classes with like an equipment or something like in FFXIV. Reason being is the character is the same there's not really any point in going through the story twice makes more sense to just have to grind each class individually.
Horribly buggy, constantly being dashboarded, really hard to connect to others for co op play. The game completely reset my accolades.
It sounds like Diablo III with guns. The replayability comes from doing it again with different character classes and from the loot chase. And maybe that's enough for some people. I played a lot of Diablo III on a system like that.
Server issues at launch are basically unforgivable. I don't know how any studio/developer gets away with it. Destiny 2 is having more and more server issues. Maybe it's an infrastructure problem, but it's borderline unethical to have server issues for mandatorily online games.

I wish i could get 35 hours in this game but id be lucky to get 1 hour 😫😩 garbage keeps crashing first it was servers now its internet connection problems so sick of these rushed games…
So far, I'm loving the gameplay. But yeah, they need to address server stability. If they can get that resolved and can support crossplay, I'll be playing the hell out of it for a long time.
And whats worse i preordered it for ps5 and series x and ended up with double garbage 🗑😑😐😒 fn over it….division 2 here i come atleast that garbage works.
From what I am seeing the core combat and builds are pretty damn great. I’m hearing it is very formulaic in it’s encounters and maps are less than impressive. I’ll likely wait for a sale.

i´m having fun (as i knew i would after playing the demo for 20 hours) BUT: server instability and performance issues/major stuttering like they are having right now are a big "no no".the transparency is laudable but still, it leaves a sour taste.
curious how you even manage to get 35 hours of play time in. I can't stay on the server long enough to string together two hours at this point.
I would rate this game 7-8 . But I give it a 1 for now since there is no game chat . You can’t tragedies with your teammates or alert them when there getting flanked by enemies. We had too use Facebook messenger the other night in group chat too communicate with each other . Game chat would prolong this game and it would make it so more enjoyable. Game is very disappointing. Could be a game that is so much more fun
