Outriders is an upcoming third-person shooter developed by People Can Fly and published by Square Enix. It is set to be released on April 1, 2021 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S. It will also release on Stadia later in 2021.

Outriders is a third-person shooter mixed with elements from role-playing games. In the beginning of the game, players create their custom characters and choose from four classes, each of them has unique abilities that the players can utilize. The four classes include Trickster, which has the ability to manipulate time, the Pyromancer, which can manipulate fire, the Devastator, which can unleash seismic attacks, and the Technomancer. These special skills have a short cooldown time and can be combined with other skills for maximum effects. The game features a skill tree that allows players to unlock and upgrade their skills.
Players can use different weapons such as shotguns and assault rifles to defeat enemies, and firearms can be customized with weapon mods. Players can hide behind cover to shield themselves from enemy attacks, though health will only regenerate if the player manages to hurt or kill enemies. Players combat both monsters and human enemies. As the player progresses, the world level (the game’s equivalent to gameplay difficulty) will increase. If the world level is high, it is more likely for the player to get high-end loot from dropped by defeated enemies

  8. Just started playing this. Well giving it a try anyway. Observations: Feel like I’m playing a 10 year old game. It’s clunky, like the script, which is also cheesy and I’m guessing written by a 12 year old. Everyone looks human apart from me and Yakub and I’m the only one that the boss doesn’t refer to by name. Guess he doesn’t like me. Epic was right. It feels like Gears of War. Oh and as for that cutscene camera shake? Am gonna need a bigger bucket! 😳 Update: The bossman is dead! 🥳

  11. It's something new. I am excited for the rest of the story. I like all the classes. The one in particular is trickster because of the twisted bullets. They eat the tanks! That blade in a.crowd even behind a wall or cover they die. Time stop best thing ever. Yes, I played Techomancer too EK1, I like their sets of powers I think better than all the other classes for the demo. Was able to have time to shoot. That class I think is the boss killer.
