What u may not kno is that the marksman snipers r worth killing along w the boss before u wipe. I found 2 legenadaries the AR and double gun, both from the marksman at the top of the cliff
i did this for hours and got more from the chests then doing this

Only reason the streamers are getting legendaries is because they are streamers and people come fly outrider square Unix want people to see their legendaries and be shown off they don't want to give them to us

Ive been farming him for hours upon hours straight since the demo came out and i have still no gotten a single legendary. Kind of frustrating
Got a legendary second try from some random enemy not the captain I think it was from one of those tanky guys that drop down right away.

If doin the chests you can get 5 from running backwards with no enemies takes a min
I FINALLY got one. They do exist!
I started doing the captain farm by melting him and then running up to the top of the hill behind his spawn and popping that chest as well before dying. Double drops and just 5-10 seconds more. Only works the first time. Do it when you start the day
My drop rate tanked after getting 2, might have to use multiple characters until the patch comes out
Just got first legendary make sure to kill machine gun guys (3) and sniper has drops first leggo dropped in about 40 min
If your not a streamer you wont get shit even the demo is tuned for streamers

Like a lot of people have said i get most of my blues/greens from the marksmen/sniper guys. they almost always drop something. triple the chance at getting something.
I tried both methods for several hours and didn't get any legendary drops. I started rotating between the captain and bad day mission and have gotten 3 legendaries now, all from the final chest in bad day
You should probably mention that every time you die you lose world tier xp so after a while you need to kill all the mobs to get the world tier level up again.
Dont they intend people to have legendary at lvl 7 ,to good to be true !! They will change something at launch
