Outriders demo is here and so far, there is no “wow” factor in this game to pull me to adopt it. Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about the Outriders Game.

  1. This game should have came out for playstation 2 and xbox360. We are far too long in the generation for a game to play so generic like this. Don't force yourself to like it because of the over hype that came with the game. It is utter trash and you ALL know this.

  2. I am really enjoying it man. I'm in World Tier 4 so far and haven't come across much I haven't enjoyed so far. They need to optimize the settings on PC though. Just the cinematics seem a little off, otherwise the frame rates are really high otherwise.
Gears of War I didn't like, but I enjoy the movement and movement speed and division 2 cover to cover system copied over. And the inventory system and love the skills as a Trickster.
I am stuck on it and will more than likely purchase it. Division 2 is still amazing, but this game is too and a great game by itself.

  3. It's weird that the only youtube channels that I see who are not sure about Outriders is division people, all the other brands of looter, shooter streamers and youtuber are enjoying the game alot but for some reason division people are having a hard time enjoying it. Has division brain washed these people or something? I understand the channel is base from division channel but there are other games out there that are better and more enjoyable

  4. I think this game aligns with your taste. If you don’t like looter-cover-shooters then you’ll probably hate it. But, if you enjoy them then you might enjoy it.

I’m on the fence – the abilities look amazing, the enemies have a cool design but there’s just no hook for me @ $89.95.

  5. I got the demo and could not link my ps4 to square enix account. Did not matter what I did it did not like my gamertag. Tried 4 different names all invalid. If they make it this difficult to try your product it probably isnt very good and after what I've seen of it it's really not my bag. It's just tooo unrealistic for me.

  6. I was waiting on you to give an opinion on Outriders and I felt the same way. I will not be playing with all classes only one. The weapons don't feel powerful and the lore of the game is not deep. This game is like the step brother of looter shooters. It's just ok. Imma OG looter shooter player imma stick to Borderlands and Division

  7. Outriders is actually a mix between Remnant from the Ashes, Borderlands 3 and Gears of War with certain gameplay elements from Doom.

The closets Division mission to an Outriders Boss fight I think would be something like Killer Kowalski at the Broadway Emporium.

  8. Has not wowed me. Performance is not what I expected. Running 1440p on 6800xt/3900x system and it ran great at first then after the town it went to hell. Can't use all of my gpu. Maybe a driver update would help. Example COD black ops runs at 170fps and division 2 benchmarks at 156fps. Too many cutscenes. I felt like I sat through a bunch of them with very short linear playtime. Well play some more to get a better feel but overall not impressed technically and it feels like Gears 5. Thanks for the thoughts as always your on point…. but I will hold out until after release and I get some feedback on endgame.

  9. I mean it’s ok but after completing my first character in about an hour I just wasn’t motivated and went back to destiny to have some fun while playing. Outriders feels to clunky.

  10. Well… It's not a game ill pay full price for. i Just downloaded it. I'll play a bit this evening and see. But…. it ain't something I'll pick up now… Esp with Control/Remnant/FF7Remake all being free games on PSN that I never played…… Not in a rush to pick this up now.

  11. I'm still 50/50 on this one. Wow factor is not there. Visually it looks bland and interesting unlike the division.I expected more especially coming from squareenix. Game play is okay. I just need to get use to it after playing D1 and D2 for the past years.

  12. Oh I am getting it no doubt. This coming from a long time veteran of both division games. The fact that this game will have zero pvp is a plus for me. PvP in division ruined the pve side when it came to balancing weaponry and equipment.

  13. Not a horrible game, but it does not meet the standards we are used to after playing other looter shooters. It lacks personality in pretty much every aspect. For what I can tell from the demo, this game is worth 30-40€, not 60.

  14. I think the tech class will play a little better for those coming from div that liked using the turrets. So far the class is fun and it's more or less getting use to playing like borderlands again where you are encouraged to fight. I think the tech class will also help a lot with healing later into the game so it will be a smoother ride.

  15. I love shooters. I'll get it. I normally get all shooter games. It has potential. I'm not sold on it right now. I just don't feel like I know enough about it from the demo. It feels different and a bit off. All new games do. So I hope they have enough content for longevity.

  16. I like that they have a demo. But…

The gameplay just seems very…meh. There's no real nuance to it. It's just steamrolling baddies and hitting abilities on cooldown. There's no depth to it.

  17. I mean it’s okay. It’s fairly clunky and primitive as a cover based RPG shooter when you even compare it to the Division series games but it’s not bad. Doesn’t grab me in the way as the way the Division games do. Seems bland honestly but not bad really.

  18. From what I've played so far I'm happy that I bought the game. I've enjoyed the storytelling and the lore so far and I really just want to get stuck into the full game. It is something different which is great, definitely better than the boredom that Destiny has become and I can see myself levelling up all classes. So hopefully it fills in that game for the next few months until the new Div 2 content arrives.

  19. How can you say you don't like shooters when you make content for just that? The Division is a shooter game. It's a cover shooter. If you don't like those games then why are you making content for Division??

  20. Remember though, this isn't Division, it's Outriders. We can never put these two games in any conversation together. These devs care. They want feedback and they deliver them. Unlike Ubisoft/ Massive that don't care about the communities opinion

  21. This game did not impress myself. I don’t feel pressured when I was under fire and taking cover. Taking the “wow” factor aside, the Division 2 also did not “wow” myself. The pacing and mechanic feels clone of many other games. Maybe the gaming community had too much of Division 2 and we can’t get used to other games.

  22. That's what I thought too playing the demo for a couple hours. There was so much cinematic scenes I was getting bored and impatient. It could be instead in-game dialogue with the cinematic scenes for the major story parts.
