Outriders Demo Review! | An AMAZING LOOTER SHOOTER With a Few Teething Problems

Welcome back to Outriders. In this video we are reviewing the demo and getting first impressions. I have played around 5 or 6 hours now and maxed out the levels on 2 characters being the devastator and the trickster. I’m absolutely loving my time on the game although it has a few teething problems that I’m hoping are fixed by the time of full release which is April 1st. I've watched the whole second of your life stream I didn't watch the first one but I have seen what you talkin about, so far that's what I've seen I'm impressed with the game definitely so as soon as I make my account with Square Enix I will start my place where the demo and I'll let you know how it goes.

I know this demo has books but it’s a demo overall the game was fun I liked it I enjoyed it and I am looking forward to it coming out and I hope all of us as a looter shooter community really falls behind it and this can set the bar for games like division, destiny and other looter shooters to set a plateau to make them better because overall this game was fun and that’s what we like for looters and the gameplay was a fun.

You also get kicked out of the game if you become inactive for more than 10 seconds, and then whatever you have on your storage except for the items you have equipped will be lost it happened to me yesterday I stopped for I think no more than10 seconds got kicked for inactivity came back to the game and all the gear except the one equipped was gone, I did it again on purpose just to make sure, and it happened again, lost all loot apart from the equipped one, I was playing alone on an Xbox series x.
    I agree with the review, we need more display control, only HDR brightness sucks, but other than that I'm liking the game I play Division and Gears of war this is basically the same type of fighting, except in this game you only use cover to catch a breather between reloads or to have some health regen on really dire cases, you have to kill to regen or in the case of the Technomancer, you have to hit the target to regen.

  4. I would love to see a FOV option on console as well. I do not care for all the mini cutscenes either and you still have to load. Either make the game load during that cutscene and thats it or just have a load screen only. Also id love to see an option added to get rid of the aim acceleration. I realize they have two options to minimize it but it needs to be gone period. It needs to be destiny/cod type aiming. No acceleration. Thats how it is on console with a controller anyway. Prob not an issue on m&k. Everything else i love! I love how i need to think about what gear i wear; while not PoE deep its still deep enough to keep me engaged and really make choices instead of; put green arrow gear on and go. I cant wait to mess with the crafting in full game as it sounds like it could be really interesting if done correctly. Nice size passive skill trees. Although im curious as to how many points we will get total. Overall great job. It looks like it will be the right level of depth to keep me engaged. Only time will tell.

  5. I really want this to be a Destiny/Divsion 2 killer but it ain't. Don't let the Division 2/Destiny community fool you about this game. They know both games are on there asses. So they follow the next big game to come along like Athem,which we all know how that turned out. Its called edging yor bets, sort of promote the new game Athem/Outriders hoping they will be the next big thing, but knowing deep down its not really.

  6. Really like the demo. My only concern is, that the harder missions wont be doable in single players like me, a weekend gamer at best. Those enemy that rush you are fast as fek and the captains are hard as nails. If the hader missions are simlar to the end bosses ive experience so far then that makes it intetesting but if its to hard then unless you have mates that play with you online a lot, then for the single player some stuff may be unreachable. Other than that feel theres really great potential to make it a great game hope they dont mess it up. 👍

  7. Edited the games ini files to turn off the motion blur and bloom. Also managed to improve my fps by forcing dx12 to run, and tweaked some registry files. Got it stable at 90fps on ultra. Fun game. I'm enjoying it.

  8. Should of been free to play. It feels like it's a mixture of to many games. Gettin destiny, gears, and a warframe vibe. Props for putting out a demo. Not worth paying full price though.

  9. Only used Pyro so far its its pretty cool game so far. Haven't used cover too much cause pyromancer has a bunch of life steal, I like to be moving and play straight savage. Only sorta issue is the movement. It's kinda gears of War clunky/blocky movement but not as bad. I know it's just the opening to the game but it's very brown and bland. I'm not expecting rainbows but I little more shading and textures may help
