Outriders Demo – Full Demo Play Through Gameplay & All Sidequests / Tenchnomancer Class Gameplay – No Commentary / No Dialogue & Cutscenes. Just a video of my third playthrough of the demo, completing the main storyline that’s available from start to finish and all of the side quests. This time I skipped all of the dialogue and left it to the gameplay only. You can see my previous videos for both the prologue and the quest dialogue. Details and opinions below too.

This class ended up way better than I expected to be honest. The leap attacks are really fun, and you do a surprising amount of damage with the abilities. I was thinking that Pyromancer was going to be the best of them all, but Trickster and Devastator have really shined. It’ll be interesting to see how they pan out for late game builds.

My thoughts that I posted earlier:
As for the game itself, while it’s hard to tell how the full game and endgame will be from the demo alone, the gunplay and feel of the game is brilliant to me. It reminds me a lot of Remnant in a way, which quickly became my favourite game of all time. There’s a lot more abilities mixed in, so I imagine future builds will be more engaging with what you can do. It’s also a big plus for me that you can play this completely solo if you like, but the option for co-op is also there.

The animations and some cutscenes are a little awkward, and the subtitles don’t match at some parts. Personally I’m not too bothered by those things, but I know some people might be. For me the big thing is how the gameplay actually is, and it feels satisfying to me so far. Some games the shooting feels completely off, but to me it felt pretty nice here.

Overall I think the demo is definitely worth playing to see if you’ll enjoy the main game itself. For me it lived up to the hype for the demo and gameplay alone, and hopefully the full game will be on the same level. It hits my personal preferences in gameplay though.

A big thanks to the team at Outriders for inviting me to join their Ambassador program and giving me early access to the demo. It gave me the opportunity to test the game early and get some news, but there were no obligations to post content, nor filtering of my actual opinion. So all of the opinions posted above are completely my own, which so far is very positive.

  2. the game looks promising. bungie took huge strides today to maintain and strengthen D2. Only time will tell if Outriders can keep up with bungies humongous plan

  3. I've run through on trickster and devastator so far. Dev was fun, but I got a blue shotgun that gave shield on hit and me unkillable as the trickster… definitely some really nice weapon/ability synergy in this game, I'm looking forward to exploring these sorts of combos more.

  4. I've put a few hours into the demo so far and have a few crashes mainly when exiting out of the menu. I also haven't really seen any stutter or frame drops but I do have that setting on locked frames. I'm enjoying it but it'll take my brain some time to get used to the cover fire like Division back into my finger memory.

  5. I do love what you do in games man but the video spam is getting pretty extreme at this point. A simple longer 2 videos would be way more consumable as a viewer. Just a little bit of feedback, I'd hate to have to unsub due to the spam man.

  6. Yea the skill where I fly up in the air and then pick a target to fly into and smash was so cool. I'm playing on PS4 and the animations drop the frame rate just a little but when the game comes out on be on PS5 so I'm excited for that. Devastator has been my favorite to control so far but I'm really looking forward to technomancer next
