The latest Outriders update seemed to break more than it fixed, and players NEED to know about how to protect their characters from deletion. Inventory wipes are becoming commonplace and it needs to be fixed ASAP.

Im probably in minority i have only played solo always having party closed to private and crossplay off. I havent had any problems. Dont get me wrong i truly feel for the people that have been affected. The game needs an offline mode. If i was to loose everything my strategy will be playing world tier 1 until i get level 30. Then i will speed run the story.
I've been playing solo since the beginning. Just waiting to get my characters at a high enough level before I do coop. Hopefully bugs will be sorted.
Just requested a refund at 40 hours. Longshot, but worth a shot…
So far option 3 works well, not playing the game is super effective to avoid losing progress
lol sry item recovery with random stats? come on… this is BS
EVEN if this game didn't have all these bugs, it had a 6 month shelf life at best. With Everything coming out this year, its mediocore gameplay and shitty story…It was never gonna last. Also, loading screens between EVERY room? WTF? Did we time travel to gaming in 2015?
If they don't have the wipe 100% fixed by the end of the week, they either need to call in outside help, because it's obvious by then that they simply can't fix it, or start offering out refunds for every player, wiped or not.
So nothing about the nerf killing the game

i love not being able to play a AA game that functions like a indie flash title but charged me a AAA price tag and then deleted my items after 70 hours… patch got WORSE performance i had 32GB of saved crash reports (something like 97 crashes in 70 hours…) this shits unforgivable… Outriders is WORSE than anthem at least anthem functioned without crashing… And the devs are making Outriders WORSE instead of better with every patch… Not to mention their philosophy on balancing which is "NERF EVERYTHING BUFF NOTHING"

I played the demo and immediately fell in love with that, I'm a big build/loot fan.
I had high hopes for the new patch on Ps5 but unfortunately it didn't bring me any good! After 30 minutes of play, the system managed to clear my entire inventory. Now I have nothing. After tens of hours of farming and stress (due to the constant crash) it still came this way. That's the bottom line, I've deleted the game to hell! Anthem was in even better condition. Wasted money out the window, wasted time. I got a superficial, semi-finished, poor and sloppy system! I didn't get the game for pretty much " free " as xbox owners! I worked hard to buy this game. I'm tired of the many semi-finished games. I want my money back on digital store.
This is EXACTLY why they should STOP 🛑 ALL NERFS and focus on what’s BROKEN … GIVE BUFFS IMMEDIATELY maybe that will reverse the bugs lol it seems to bottom worst with the nerfs… Spend your time wisely PCF instead spending it on sill patches with legendary and NERFS……… 🎤 Drop 😄👍🏻
Thank god I’ve stopped playing since the nerfs. I don’t want to lose my progress. I started playing the bio shock trilogy just finished the first one going onto the second. Also playing quantum break. Plenty of other games till this gets fixed.
I lost all of my fucking shit, literally hours of work down the toilet
yup literally just got wiped a few minutes ago. Had no issues with multiplayer for the longest time and today i get kicked from a buddies game then relog to find my character in her underwear lol welp i guess thats all folks
Every day that goes by, I'm happier with my decision to wait for a sale. Got a gg deals alert setup so i don't just forget about the game and can pick it up on the cheap later when they have a better version of it.
To late lost it all at level 49
and again….found a way to make a round of massive nerfs lol while your playing base physically cannot play.
Priorities
I've never touched co-op, I've had almost zero issues except performance which got fixed after thr first patch that made DX11 mode work.
So glad I was able to finish everything without getting wiped because if they legitimately told me not to play the game right now – I wouldn't have come back anyway. I had my fun and feel like I got money's worth but man the potential for this game went up in smoke even quicker than Anthem.
