  1. Nah F2P or gtfo, a service game that charges upfront will not succeed considering the competition that costs nothing, this is godfall all over again!

  2. Building the Devastator around "Reflect Bullets" with the "Auto-Reflect", "Strongest first", the bleeding, duration and damage mods is insane. Especially the first two make the captains a cakewalk. No gun needed.

  3. This really reminded me of ME3/andromeda combat, which imo is a great blend of shooting and powers, with light cover where the cover is more about planning or taking a breather, you don't want to sit in cover and shoot much.

Anyway the game has that quality where it feels greater than the sum of its parts while you play it, which imo is the best quality a new game can have which you can't fix in later. For me the only downside is the price tag, but then it does promise to be a 'complete' product.

  4. Yes please make some Outriders content, I'm loving the demo and will play on release too 👍 the devs here are making all the right moves (community engagement and transparency) which is so refreshing

  5. Outriders: a mediocre third person looter shooter with a great skill system and character building.
The big problem here is the terrible level design, with some area that literally is one small room. Also movement covers and dodge doesn't convince me… from this point of view Remnant from the ashes is far superior.

  6. Dunno, i played the demo and the game is shit. It runs bad, it has a bunch of bugs in it, some mechanics don't work at all times, the classes all play the same. Like literally, read their description, they found 4 different ways to write "kill stuff to get healed" but it doesn't change the fact that they all get healed on kills. The techno has the strongest element the trickster is the fastest and the devastator is invulnerable for a short time. Thats the classes, thats it! All bosses and rare enemies charge you no matter how much you try to keep your distance so melee is the only way to play anywys, even with technomancer (a ranged class) just charging in and freezing all enemies with your aoe melee attack is better than keeping your range and using a sniper. In the end you will play the same in the endgame when you try to maximize your loot runs. Might as well play a devastator from the get go. All perks on items i saw until now (in game and posted on reddit) are mostly dogshit. The "skill tree" is just basic stats for the most part, absolute joke! The developer says the game features >35 hours of game time. Sry but i go out on a lim' her and guess it will take us less than 30 hours, then how much gameplay remains is the question on hand, i am pretty sure the game isn't worth its money…

  7. my 3 main issues is:
    -the super shaky cam
-the almost non existent recoil on all guns.
-the weird cover system, would've been better to just have ctrl to crouch/slide to make it feel fluid

  8. Pro tip, the melee attack is really strong, especially the running variant as sprinting will turn it into an AoE, with good damage and class based effects like burn or slow.

  9. nope its fucking shit
and if we buy shitty games, they will try and sell us more shitty games at full price.
    it is generic,bullet spongey,and boring.
typical epic garbage…a b+ titlt for aaa price.
    not 30$ not 40 $ 70 $ + tax…thats a nty
    typical effort for a porthouse.
you say you like it after 40 hours…ill think less of your opinions…

  10. Besides the horribly mediocre story, i was kind of interested in the game until i tried it, the game was fun but the performance is ASS, my rig is aging (GTX 1070, Ryzen 5 2600) BUT apparently the recommended specs for the game to run @ 1080p/60fps is a measly 1660 and a Ryzen 5 1600, yet the game's framerate just TANKS below 50 in most firefights.

idunno if they fixed it, but outright lying like that made all my excitement for a new looter shooter to go down to 0ñ.

  11. The mod system seems very promising for me, the amount of customization you'll have with armor and weapons sounds awesome when making builds

As long as the endgame doesn't get boring quickly, I'm looking forward to playing this a lot when it comes out fully

  12. It's worth noting that the Pyromancer's melee will mark enemies for the purposes of its heal. Makes early Pyromancer a little more survivable than if you just keep waiting for skill cooldowns.

  13. Gameplay is fine, Im enjoying it overall, but story is sooooooo meh so far. Just generic "humans cant find a sense of community and so turn on each other in the literal WORST way possible" sci-fi story we've seen a million times. Plus the game feels so excessive in its cussing and brutality that its borderline humorous. Takes me out of the game a bit honestly.

  14. Ok. So.. whatever bias I may have aside.. I have MANY criticisms.

I would go through them all but you guys have no doubt heard every single one. However.. I am gonna say one I know people have not heard yet.

That skill tree menu was hardcore ripped out of a mobile game from a couple years ago. Shameless.
