I was so tired when recording this, but even know, I dont quite understand whats going on, other tests that have been run are world tier 14 weapons (level 41) being used in Expedition challenge tier 14 (where weapons drop at level 49), are doing the same as if not more damage. Also I thought it could just be a way of stopping high leveled players going back and carrying lower leveled players through the campaign and the way in which they try and combat this is to sclaing endgame weapons down so bad they have no use in world tiers. Problem with this logic is, you can just as a high level class use weapons from any world tier level & still carry that lower level player through the campaign. The only explanation I can think of in to why this is happening is World Tier weapons & Challenge Tier weapons scale differently & actually firepower & item level doesnt mean anything. Scaling is 100% broke & it makes sense as to why sometimes I can go down challenge tiers within expeditions & somehow feel weaker.

World their act differently than challenge teirs. At world teir 10 the maximum level you should be able to equip is 40 which is why your 40+ weapons are only doing their base damage amounts
try making a new character acc and get a lvl 1 weapon and just kill everything
That warload farm is good for bringing up your world tier to 15 just kill him and all his people that spawn log out to menu reload and repeat.
Its cause the game is scales down or scales up you and your weapons to enemy lvl. This is so you don't go around one tapping everything when you get to the higher tiers. Know as double side scaling.
Unbelievable. Really good find. Well done. Truly hope they become aware of this and make the fix, but this could be so game breaking, nothing to be done.

Highest loot level in main game is 42. You have weapon beyond this, it's causing a bug or devs didn't want people doing this
until you compare two guns with the same stats NOT LV then you can compare
Ok this explains why I felt my high level legos felt underwhelming. Ppl who are in the public eye need to contact PCF about this. The scaling needs to be looked into, and soon!
Didn't anthem have something like this? I remember like a starting weapon out damage high end weapon.

I take break of expeditions and go do stuff in main story, wt 15 struggling to kill enemies, mostly die of mods not firepower.
your 1st problem is not using auto slug with base 10 mag as your main gun.

I think maybe exp gears are only meant for exp so it would only scale to your char lv if playing campaign using said gears, mmaybee?🤔
You're showing your actual primary weapons stats, meaning before it's scaled down and comparing it to a weapon from that tier which isn't scaled down
Try putting alot more firepower in your build just a idea this is whack
it scales what your max wearable item at the world tier you using. somehow the system cant scale the your highest gear to the world tier you using.
I was experiencing this with a friend yesterday my level 10 pistols were out damaging my lvl 46 gear by a stupid amount, I was helping him raise world tier killing the spider boss and didn’t understand how tf they were doing so much damage, thanks for this video😂
Go to sleep and the world tier damage will get better!!

This was an issues in Anthem too… I think some power algorithms are difficult to figure out on the devs end.
I dont get it… u hit 25k with your first one and then you hit 14ks with the lvl37 shotty. You just held down the trigger. there is nothing to see here….
If you are at end game you guys should farm blue/rare gear with perks and attributes you like. If your mats are high enough, upgrade that to the highest level THEN upgrade the rarity to epic/purple. You don’t have to use pod components to get to the higher levels.
Your mats need to be high enough to do this. But an easy way to upgrade gear to max level at end game and have damn near the exact gear you want
