Tomorrow we will discuss Outriders and the Outriders demo and why I am interested in this game. Square Enix and People Can Fly have said it won’t be a live service game, but it sounds like are open to the game expanding over time.

Outriders is an upcoming cooperative role-playing third-person video game developed by People Can Fly and published by Square Enix’s European subisidary. It is set to be released on April 1, 2021 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia.

  1. The classes look pretty well thought out and original to an extent… minus the Pyromancer. Never thought I'd be interested in the tank class before but it looks fun tbh.

  2. This game feels like it’s going to channel what we all loved about destiny 1, but better. I’m pumped!

Very interesting that this game is getting a lot of buzz in a time of decrease for Destiny. I think destiny as a franchise, peaked already and can only go down from here.

  3. I can’t wait for this. I’m really hoping it’s a breath of fresh air. Anthem seems to be officially dead now. I need a new 3rd person looter shooter as the d2 burn out is real.

  4. Looks like a decent game but longevity will tell. It would be great for Destiny to have some sort of competitor. That would get them moving on certain things the community wants.

  5. Yeah, some comments sound like they plan a GaaS approach but don’t want to push it because players are against it right now. Seems a lot of players GaaS = evil money grabbing tactics. If this game doesn’t get new content regularly it’s going to be a one and done fast.

  6. Live service is a 'no-no' word now so companies are using different terms now. I mean, if they end up have DLC and expansions and patches that add content…it will be a live service no matter what they call it!
