  1. I used to day 1 my favorite games during the 360 era and go to midnight releases. But now after getting burned over the years and with gamepass I have no reason to buy a game full price on launch day. My FOMO is replaced with watching the cutscenes on youtube often before the game releases. Then I'll wait until the reviews say it works or for a GOTY edition that'll probably come to gamepass anyway. Instead I either play my backlog of actual complete games or simply enjoy more nongaming hobbies. I almost never day 1 games anymore unless the reviews are good or it's an extremely rare AAA singleplayer game.

Don't grind and don't beta test after paying a premium. You're worth more than that.

  2. I think reviewers need to start cracking down on technical issues in their reviews. If the game doesnt work properly on launch its automatically lower than a 5 (average)

  3. I keep saying something along these lines over and over: until the gaming community proves they're not suckers, by refusing to buy broken games, the industry has no incentive to stop releasing shit games that don't even work.

  5. Like I get it there’s a lot of people trying to play, but even bungie has server issues fixed a day after a big dlc launch. The fact that it’s been half a week and we still have issues is sad. Hopefully they do find a fix soon, game looks like it has a lot of potential.

  6. I Cyberpunk 2077 crashed all the time too and it wasn't online, all multi platform games seem to launch in a bad state. PC and console exclusives seem to be the only stable games anymore

  7. I've had the random crashes. Not memory wise but just gone. No explanation, but crash. And it's usually during some kind of interaction. I switched to DX11 and haven't had a crash since. Idk if that will help any of you. I also can't seem to get a matchmaking game?

  9. Alex cutting a you people promo in which hes right lol. Yeah this game is a roller coaster ride of shit. Even solo if you dont fine tune your build the later world tiers become boring bullet sponges. Every enemy can be spongy. Also why couldn't they put you on the map. I have the map marker freaking out and in some areas the landscape doesn't match the part of the map im in. That could be fixed if they just had a you are here dot on the map. And the healing system is just unbalanced. Gotta stay in cover cause they can chunk your health but gotta kill to get health back which involves getting out of cover. I may just wait for a massive patch with some balancing hopefully

  10. You know that this isn't going to matter. If they fix it people will still like it and end up fighting for it. Diablo 3 ended up having a ton of support, No Man's Sky ended up having a ton of support, I actually know of alot of people who will support Fallout76 (and it's steam reviews are positive), and I expect Cyberpunk to follow the same trend. And Outriders will prolly join that list too. Face it, people will forgive the launch state if it gets fixed and not enough people are going to change their buying habits to matter. It's why FIFA and Madden crush year after year no matter what they do.

  12. Thought it was just me playin on base ps4, which is my own mistake I know for thinking a game meant for every gen under the sun could be good. However, with the fact that every gen is crashing, that makes me feel a bit better. What happened to the days of going to GameStop and buying a disc putting it in your console and not putting the controller down for 24 hours?? If this world is supposed to be better then I want a time machine to go back! Game is monotonous, but it can be fun to be this crazed killing machine, just wish every fight and every mission didn’t amount to the saaaaame thing! Makes you really appreciate the ghost of Tsushima

  13. "Everybody keeps launching games with connection issues"

Nope, not everyone. Just shitty AAA published games without peer to peer servers do. Just play good indie games and you'll be fine. Stop giving money to these terrible companies and then complaining that these terrible companies are… terrible. I swear, most gamers have amnesia and they don't even know it.
