easynow1337 aka easynow 1337 here with outriders updates and an outriders patch – we look at the outriders patch notes and its crazy to think its an outriders patch so soon in the full game – with these outriders patch notes you can really see how much they care about the game, they answer many questions like outriders nerfs / outriders fixes for crashes and technical issues as well as balancing twisted rounds / blighted rounds / volcanic rounds on the pyromancer – technomancer and trickster classes and this outriders update / outriders news in this outriders patch update shows us they aren’t going to ban anyone but fix the issues themselves for various outriders exploits – this outriders news about outriders nerfs are mixed feelings for a lot of us and they also talk about outriders quality of life

  1. Honestly I dont care about fixing, I just want more content now…finished getting all legies and missions completed, my build is absolutely set as well. They need something like a tower where it gets harder as you climb:)

  2. The only ppl that are soloing ct15 are the people who have put hundreds of hrs into the game probably on coop. Its not a sub based game longevity is total hrs to complete. They already have there money. Im at 86 hrs and was pushing CT13 prior to nerfs. Most games dont even get that amount of play time total. Just because content creators and streamers are doing CT 15 dont mean we all are. Nerfs will make we walk away.

  3. As long as Expeditions are timed this situation will keep happening. It's just a big dps check and the meta dps build will always be the only viable option. It takes away any real build diversity.

  4. l think they should've sorted all the problems with the game instead of nerfing one class, if they don't listen to the community they will have no players and have mud on their faces, after all the hype about the game will mean nothing.l don't want to see them go down the same road as Destiny.

  5. my problem with the defense of the nerfs for longevity is this game is not a live service game we got a quote on quote complete game clearly PCF lied about the live service. PCF also said and i quote we want players to feel op but the moment we feel op we get nerfed. This game was marketed as a complete game and no future content then what do you care what i do with it after a week because the top 1 percent youtubers have grinded for hours and are able to complete endgame? Leave me alone this is a non live service pve game no need for nerfs. People can nerf have no idea what they are doing hands down and are making de look like legendary developers.

  6. On coop with 2 people the boss health and even Captain health are increase too much and on top of that they added more enemies if your playing coop rather solo. BTW I play a Techomancer and my friend plays Devastator. We struggled which is fine bit some of the enemies were just bullet sponges and in one instant they had a total of 3 Feral Captains one had Phoenix Revive, which stayed on for like 30 secs and goes on every enemy. In which you kill goes back to full health. That is too much because it cause a game which promotes aggressive play style be well I guess i run around for 30 secs while I wait for phoenix to wear off. Also don't get me started talking about the orbs the last boss and last mage miniboss had.

  7. I feel like only people who no life games can beat it within a week. Most games like this have content creators that don't represent the majority of gamers

  8. I've posted this in other areas, but I'll do it again here. The game is designed around the concept of classes with 3 trees that are roughly the same. Top tree of a class is weapon focus damage. Middle tree is the off/support/team role tree. Bottom tree is the anomaly skill power tree. The top and bottom trees are suppose to be the "DPS" trees for all classes. The issue is that the bottom tree for all classes suck. It is because of how combat is designed in this game. It is a looter SHOOTER and not a looter MAGIC POWER SPAM game. That spam word is the crux. You can't really spam powers in this game. Not at all. The cooldowns for the majority of powers is 20 seconds or longer. Cooldown reduction is hard to get without top end gear rolls. Basically a player can spam bullets, but can't spam abilities. We are limited to 3 abilities, which limits ability interactions and ability spam. Especially with long cooldowns. Which means the appeal for playing the ability builds in this game is NON EXISTANT no matter how much the weapon damage tree gets nerfed. PCF would literally have to remove the top tree of every class to make the bottom tree compelling to play at all with the current combat system. What would have been a better buff would be allowing a 4 ability slot unlock on the bottom tree for every class as a capstone and giving more ability CD nodes. Make them general and not specific ability cooldowns except for capstone nodes which may focus the player into a set of abilities on the bottom. That is fine. Had PCF done that then PCF would have made other build play styles more compelling without having to nerf the weapon tree.

There is another aspect of the nerf I don't like. The claim it is to slow down player progression. Sorry I call BS on that claim. Trying to state that PCF couldn't figure out the pacing of their gates and content by the player base before release means that they never play tested their game. A company worrying over a few select "no-life" players are completing all their content in a week is dumb. Most of those players have already literally put over 110 hours into the game by the time the patch rolled out. Some were already on higher level gear and content due to the transfer mechanism from the demo of the game. I am telling you, the casual player doing 10 hours a week is going to take almost a year to get to the same level as the the "no life" player doing it all in a week. That is just the nature of the player base. This nerf is massively hurting the casual playing 10 hours a week and barely messes with the "no-lifer" who isn't interested in playing most games past a month in the first place typically. Nothing PCF or any company can do to curb "no-lifer" players. Massive nerfs to play styles and core mechanics of the game, especially so early after release, will kill games like this. Wolcen anyone? I know they killed my enjoyment for the game and I'm out.

  9. The trickster nerf was pretty hard. As you know I play devastatior and pyro. As a pyro AT CT13 I do around 70, 000, 000 damage and my trickster mate would do about 30% more.

Now tho its literally the other way around and we find it very hard to get gold, we're both ok at the game as we're on CT14 with amazing gear.

Now we both don't even wanna try a harder tier as we know it would be next to impossible unless we get more T3 mods and copy a perfect build from someone (which would be the only viable build available) and we both like learning and doing our own thing so that's not gonna happen.

More buffs less nerfs and if the do they should up the rick reward instead by adding -10% health or something to damage perks or +30% reload times to things that alow infinite bullets so you really get punished if you drop the ball.

For "risk" and "reward" to work there's got to be a risk (lower health, longer reloads or slow roll etc) and a damn reward (more damage, better cooldowns or infinities and stronger CC etc).

People loved the game because the gear they got and the builds they make made them feel powerful. If they keep nerfing, the thing that made people love the game, won't be there and it'll just be another game people don't want to play because its just not fun. Bring back the fun see if it works, you've made more money than you had ever hoped for so why not try something that all these sucky games were too afraid to do.
