With the update changes to Outriders where legendaries have been added into the lootpools of side quests, are they better to run now than the OG Captain & the Vanguard Captain for legendary loot?

Does anyone got their update on the PS4
Every time you level up the world if you look in the details it tells you that each rank up gives a 25% more chance to get a Legendary, but it makes me question it as well because there’s over 10 levels in the world rank up system which makes it all around questionable on what are the real chances of getting one. I personally have tried every way and have played for more than 30 hours and I haven’t received a single Legendary and yet still haven’t even seen an Epic item even in the shops. I’m starting to wonder if it actually depends on the platform people are playing on or different for each gen, I’m on an Xbox and so far I’ve only seen even one person on an Xbox get 1 Legendary out of playing for over 60 hours and that was before the patch. So really what are the chances of getting one??? Thanks for the vids I do enjoy them

Yeah its all based off of rng… everyone says the captain is the best way for legendaries and I've farmed him for 11+ hours. But the only legendaries I've actually received so far are from the chests pre nerf… so idk.
I was farming chests so much and captains before the update/patch and still not a single drop

Wish we knew the drop rates, I’ve had two Legendarys drop after 45mins farming the Vanguard Captain on two occasions but today I farmed him for 3hrs after the patch and got nothing.

I have played about 50 hours so far and got 8 Legendarys. 2 dropped from the snipers, 2 from the crates and the rest came from the captains. Looks like I'm one of the lucky ones. My brother has already spent 75 hours in the game and has only gotten 2 Legendaries so far. RNG can be very frustrating.

omg i think i had a brain anurism or however u spell it i went thorugh 10 hours of nonstop farming to get my first leg. and it was the amber vault is tht any good?
I didn't want to get soured to the the game that my brother got me for Christmas just because of the demo loot drop-rate, so I stopped playing because of this change. It's just not worth the effort. Why do all these looter shooter games kill the loot? Is there a good reason?

Did you know you can Just Plug in your Mouse and Keyboard in console and IT works in this Game ? And this is Just a Demo.
So, captains are just for farming legendary weapons (with epic gear now gone) and the payback quest is to keep you world tier from dropping. Got it.😑

I can tell u I have been farming for 3 days and I havent seen a single legendary an I've done every method I'm annoyed my only complaint is that other than that I'm excited for this game to release
Ive been doing this farm since prepatch. It is a great way to gear up since the quest reward used to always be blue. now it will be blue or legendary so very much worth to do if you want to gear up for the captains.
Feels like a major need to loot right now. Not even getting good rare gear anymore. Kinda defeats the point of playing right now

Hours beyond hours of grinding and have 1 rifle. I’m a devastator.
I've only gotten 1 legendary so far. Unfortunately it was at level 4 from a chest in a side quest. It was the side quest where you unlock the gun vendor.
The other captains are far far more efficient.
I have farmed the captains for about 25 hours with no legendary. First replay run today on that side mission I got my first legendary. It’ll be interesting to see what more and more people find in their grinds
