Glad I didn’t start playing this game. Sounds brutal
It's important to understand that skill T1 mods dont roll on every single piece. For example, the valuable Earthquake mods like Bloodshock **only** rolls on helm, quake damage and +1 quakes roll on gloves. I was hunting a pair of boots with any of these quake mods so I can replace a health roll with a 5th anomaly power roll since I'm using Strict 3 set bonus pieces… until I noticed it literally doesn't exist. I had to just take the health roll on the chin, and move some mods around to min max with what was possible. Don't get caught hunting a red herring, be very careful with what rolls where and plan accordingly.

What’s missing is the random chance for Tier 3 mods to be assigned when improving the rarity of item. As it is now, you can’t create a final version of gear that has two tier 3 mods from upgrading alone. Gear can drop that has a tier 3 mod and then you could reassign another tier 3 mod to the other slot, but is still limited in what we can do. They need to give us the ability to change the attributes as well 😜
Dude this makes so much more sense than just just hoping for those elusive Legendary pieces with the exact stats. Better to have epic with exactly what you want than a Legendary with crap stats/mods

Allow me to summarize a 13 minute video to a sentence. Use the crafting system on greens and blues to build up the gear you need.
"You get anomaly power but want DPS." Truer words on how undertuned most anomaly builds can be summerized by this likely slip. Anomaly power does not equal DPS.

my issue is I need more tier 3 mods, but im around ct12 and I just am not doing enough damage to enemies especially elites, even with upgraded to level gear and mods I can get.
That's definitely the most efficient method. I also go back to Eagle Peaks to the point where you last talk to Jakub where I farm the 7-8 chests there with no enemies in site. It's mindless but I listen to other things in the meantime. Its great to start filling out those attributes.

Good info to get out there. Also one extra thing to mention: the lower the level and rarity of an item, the cheaper it will be to improve the attributes with shards, which makes it even better to craft low then improve level

Thats how i have been playing since demo day 1 , i pay attention to the numbers and the stats , i dont even look at what the gear looks like or the mod , most of the time , some of the mods benefit can be found in the skill tree anyway :)… by the way , you just earn 1 subscriber 😛

You are missing out on the perfect way to beat the rng system. Upon improving rarity, look at the 3 mods if none are what you need Alt F4 the game and reopen and do it again till you get the mods you need. Unless they patched this already which in that case ignore everything I just said.
Great video! I went through this exact process today. This game is so strange compared to other loot based games! It definitely takes some re-training of your brain 😄
I've been doing the hunts trick to get exotics for my pyro. Turn them in and then check the shop to see what I get and then closing the game and restarting to see if I get something different. I just need an Acari chest, but it's being difficult. Gotten pretty much every Acari piece to rotate in at some point so it should show up at some point.
Will do this for my hands and feet gear though.

**SPOILER, Why is it Youtubers believe that everyone has finished the game so it's ok to show the End. I have finished it but have many friends who have not or play casually. Why is this necessary to "show" ? I am most likly going to subscribe just so i can have the satisfaction of clicking unsubscribe. Not showing hate the info you passed is well known (or should be) but It's tiring seeing Youtubers Rushing content out assuming the world plays games for a living so 2 weeks after a game is out "of course everyone has finished it by now". No they are not. Many people are still just starting Cyber punk or even Witcher 3. 30-40 hr Campaign use any other story moment.
Still doesnt help when the last thing you need is a t3 weapon mod that will never drop.
I'm playing as a Trickster and can't get past wt13. I've also only finished the first expedition solo but died on the second one. So I feel like I'm stuck and don't know what else to do on this game. Kinda disappointing

level your green/blue item to max level (50) before upgrading to epic. Only costs iron(weapons)/leather(armor)
You don't have to scrap the armor if you do not get the mod you want from Zahidi. Just do not close out the screen and close out of Outriders. Log back in, and redo the mod process.
