Outriders Demo – Full Demo Play Through Gameplay & All Sidequests / Trickster Class Gameplay – No Commentary. Just a video of my second full playthrough of the demo, completing the main storyline that’s available from start to finish and all of the side quests. This time I skipped the prologue mission as that remains the same for all classes. You can see that on my previous full demo video linked below. Details and opinions below too.

Trickster is a lot of fun to play, if not borderline OP. I think with the right builds this could be the best class in the game. Although it’s hard to say from what end-game options will become available, but this one felt really strong. Getting a little more comfortable with the game at this point too. Other than a couple of moments where I completely forgot how to aim, overall it was pretty smooth with this clear. I’ll post the Technomancer and Devastator clears later. I’m not sure if there’s too much else for me to post until the game releases, but looking forward to it personally.

My thoughts that I posted earlier:
As for the game itself, while it’s hard to tell how the full game and endgame will be from the demo alone, the gunplay and feel of the game is brilliant to me. It reminds me a lot of Remnant in a way, which quickly became my favourite game of all time. There’s a lot more abilities mixed in, so I imagine future builds will be more engaging with what you can do. It’s also a big plus for me that you can play this completely solo if you like, but the option for co-op is also there.

The animations and some cutscenes are a little awkward, and the subtitles don’t match at some parts. Personally I’m not too bothered by those things, but I know some people might be. For me the big thing is how the gameplay actually is, and it feels satisfying to me so far. Some games the shooting feels completely off, but to me it felt pretty nice here.

Overall I think the demo is definitely worth playing to see if you’ll enjoy the main game itself. For me it lived up to the hype for the demo and gameplay alone, and hopefully the full game will be on the same level. It hits my personal preferences in gameplay though.

A big thanks to the team at Outriders for inviting me to join their Ambassador program and giving me early access to the demo. It gave me the opportunity to test the game early and get some news, but there were no obligations to post content, nor filtering of my actual opinion. So all of the opinions posted above are completely my own, which so far is very positive.

  1. This time I skipped the prologue mission as that remains the same for all classes, and I mainly wanted to show the Trickster gameplay. For the last two classes I'll likely just skip all of the dialogue and cutscenes, leaving it to the quests and gameplay only. You can see the prologue and all other dialogue on my previous full demo video linked here. Details and opinions are also in the description https://youtu.be/iMTbVc3X9ns

  2. Ppl need to realize it's a campaign only game. After a month or maybe 2. Most ppl will be done with it. Maybe grind for better weapons and stuff but nothing rly to go for in long run bc not a live service game like destiny

  3. I feel like this game wants to be a cover base game but then you’re constantly forced to move from cover and you’re instantly lit up by 15-20 enemies and BOOM, your health is gone and that’s it. I am playing solo though so maybe that’s it.
