  1. Quite enjoying destiny at the moment. Especially with a good community clan! Outriders though does I agree look like a good game that may give bungie a slap to wake up a bit

  2. Destiny is already killing itself. It's just getting boring now. I used to defend this since the alpha. But with Luke Smith, it'll just keep getting worse. To me, Bungie needs to learn from the players rather than just trying to sneak by doing things their way and only their way.

  3. Depends how the gun play feels and sounds, if its at or above destiny then it may very well cut off players from destinys current base.
But I hope it doesn't, as much as I hope Outriders succeeds I don't wanna see the death of a game I've put hundreds of hrs into

  4. Bro stop comparing games to Destiny. We called Anthem a 'Destiny Killer' and look whats gonna happen to that. Lets leave games in they're respective titles and see if Outriders can live up to what Destiny grew into overtime.

  5. They are two different games. Destiny is an MMO that drip feeds content with "games as a service". Outriders is a complete game that you buy once and has no announced plans for DLC, etc…

  6. I don’t think so because outriders well only have 3 people but now if they want to do an after patch in a few months or years so more players can play. More players makes it fun having less players it’s just silly lol

  7. Pvp wise, destiny is killing itself, stasis just should've been a PvE only thing and on Pc at least, cheaters have free rein as there's no anti cheat system

PvE wise I think this is one of the better seasons we've had, the battlegrounds mode is pretty solid, devil's lair is osrs levels of nostalgia and the new raid is solid if a bit repetitive with the mechanics.

To me Destiny is much like runescape, you never properly quit, the breaks just get longer.

  8. I think it’s way overdue to stop using the term Destiny Killer. There’s plenty of room in the ecosystem for another game to co-exist, provide healthy competition and keep each other honest. If Outriders succeeds it will make Destiny better.

  9. Competition is a great thing for all games. I want a power fantasy fulfilled with outriders that's what I am most looking forward to. I want to be stupid powerful if I so choose and you just don't get that with Destiny partly because of PvP. Why should I spend hours and hours grinding for better rolls and stats on my armor in destiny if it gives you minimum rewards in end game activity and for normal activities for that matter. I feel no more powerful no matter what I do.

  10. New looter shooter coming out

Every dumb Destiny player- "It's the Destiny killer"

Why is every new looter shooter a destiny killer? Outriders will probably be a great game based off of what is shown, but i don't think it will kill Destiny.

  11. PvP keeps the game fresh in between content droughts. I can see everyone that's saying pvp isn't needed also saying the game is getting boring 2-3 months down the line. How do you think a game like Destiny is still relevant and still the king of all looters shooters till this day.
