I am not one of those bigger gaming websites no 2-minute reviews here only details. Videogame reviews all the time. So if you are tired of short reviews, ones that don’t discuss all the games, this is the right place. No big website 2-minute stuff here.
Coverage includes ps4, PS5, XBox series X, Xbox one, pc, Xbox 360, Wii, Wiiu, Switch, and digital storefronts like Steam, as well as companies like Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo
Buy, wait for a sale, rent, or never touch it. The Patented Karak review system to see if a game is worth a buy upon release.

Any game code supplied by PR/Dev is purchased again upon its release and given away to Patrons. No game is reviewed for free and no sponsorships for game reviews taken. My money is on the the line just like everyones.

The problem is games with lots of cinematics and strong characters cause division based on taste
The game looks janky though not great graphics
Very generic.
It was OK. A game I would pick up in a sale. It was too much like gears of war for me. But when it's about 19.99 I'd pick it up
Had a lot of fun. Pyro was a blast. I’m praying the world gets more unique than “one lane wasteland battlefield full of random cover pieces”. Definite power trip. Story solid. Graphics ok.
I'm having a blast as all of the characters. My favorites are the Technomancer and Trickster. Love blowing my enemies to pieces.
i have been hyping myself up for this game for 2 years and i preordered it right when it was available…… i played the demo and i really dont like it at all. Its very clunky and insanely linear and boring i played the demo for like 10 hours and didnt like any of my experience. I love looter shooters but this one doesnt scratch that itch…. i canceled my preorder and im just gonna watch reviews and twitch streamers when the game launches. Super dissapointed after 2 years of waiting
I was really excited for this game. It’s hard to tell from the demo but I wish the gameplay was more similar to mass effect. I think a good combination system would have been huge for this game. Mass effect uses it in multiplayer to make weaker classes have their place in the game.
I think they know how to create a looter shooter!!! This is not any game…again I say it's a looter shooter, and I think it has plenty to show for the kind of game it is and if they keep it alive for some time to come add content constantly to make it interesting to keep playing, they will keep a great number of players hooked. I like this company they seem to know what they are doing regarding multiplayer games. Personally, I Have played the Demo with only the stealth assassin class… and I love the class abilities, I want to try the others as well, I have played other looter shooters and this one looks like a whole game, and I like the time shift elements to the story… I am talking about the intro… I love sci-fi shooters, although destiny wasn't for me this looks more like a game I would play because I also like how it looks to gears of war and division taking cover system behind objects… I like the game mechanics and way of play.
The combat and animations felt way too stiff with no proper feedback. It felt very low quality even compared to something like Remant from the Ashes.
I never got in…I couldn't connect to the servers. After the 8th attempt through out the day I just uninstalled.
I played the demo on a PS4 pro and while I did enjoy the story, premise and gameplay. It did feel rough. There were numerous times the cutscene audio was unsynced and a lot texture pop in. Also, the the egregious use of shaky cam made me seasick. My biggest concern is that they will rush the game out the door without ironing out the kinks, which would be a shame because I think it has a lot of potential.
I loved Remnant, sank almost 400 hours into the game. I heard u mentioned it in this video, can you compare the two a little bit more?
Literally my only complain is that the melee at the very least for the devastator should be a proper punch instead of that flimsy palm wave thing
As if right now the game is janky as all hell. Needs a loooooot of polish before I spend any money on it.
Janky, but fun. Would buy it but the 60 bucks pricetag is giving me second thoughts.
When I played the demo I was sort off surprised I didn't like it think maybe looter shooters just aren't really my thing.the efact that it wasn't open world bothered me as well surprisingly.i think I've just been playing to many of those
Nice concept but not worth a full price game at the moment, $30-40 but not full price. Shooting mechanics, only 3 person, no in game chat system and I know it's planned later on. Bottom line I think after the hype it will get boring quick.
the shooting and movement was all jank and felt horrible. i almost want to get back to it and see how it plays with a controller.
I cant believe they willingly fail that hard at one of the main things in the game. Bossfights were fun though. i wouldnt pay 80€ for it.
possibly buy it for 20 after it recieves a couple of patches to iron out the jank unless this game is a publisher release and forget…..its not 505 games but it is square enix….im a bit worried now when i think about it.
Rpg method killed it for me and the open world just doesn't look great. I'm getting avengers vibe lol no thanks
I'm quite enjoying it needs a little polish but it's fun I'll probably buy it launch day
Not for me really… Feels like a game made by robots.
Shooting feels fine the character classes feel abit meh none of them seem to have much impact maybe that will change with later game powers but overall not impressed tbh
I found the charector interesting and refreshing the charector isn't just a good guy/gell they are almost sociopathic and cold but it works well the charector was just plunged almost one hundred years in the future and there intire group was just murdered so yes they are going to be cold and unforgiving and the sociopath like tendencys my honisly be a copying mechanism
Its got issues but I like it….im in.
I loved it. My only complain is map and level design. Would have liked to see something closer to Remnant. Not random but with just a little more arms to explore with chests and loot.
Other than that, it's gunna be a fun game that I'm going to greatly enjoy. In the same capacity that I enjoy Borderlands and for the same reasons. It's just fun.
I’m playing the demo of Outriders and am loving it! I finished all quests with my pyromancer and this morning made three other outriders from the other three classes and plan to try one of them out when I get back home from work tonight! I preordered Outriders this past Saturday night and look forward to trying out the other three classes as well as the rest of the experience in the full game!
My impressions are that their's no need to require internet to play this game. It's just another dumb decision by Square to hold their games back from full potential.
It's Okay nothing mind-blowing, it's like last call at the bar and you go home with the so so looking chick. Yeah I'm playing it but I'd rather be playing (insert AAA game title here)
this game loot, abilities system is superb, you can hot-swapping abilities and items supporting them, so much potential!!!!!
DONT play this like a cover-shooter, go aggressive the covers are for the enemies
I think the demo was good I love looter shooters. I'm a big division fan. With outriders I played with all 4 classes.I think it just a little more polish as far cover to cover movement, the camera I found myself numerous times going into first person view stuck in a corner trying to evade enemies and dodging out the way. I also think it needs a lock on mechanic I'm sure that's a easy fix for the devs aside from that I enjoyed my time I never pre order games or buy on launch day I'm still going to wait for the reviews. But it looks solid thus far
What I do like is the "agressive" approach to combat. How u have to defeated the enemy to heal. Makes you think about how to approach situations and with 4 different gameplay styles to here is quite a bit of strategy. I like the story so far too despite familiar tropes I'm curious to see how things go with the story. For reference I played as pyromancer
As for negatives, the graphics I expected to be a bit more but then again the edges I'm sure will get ironed out. The level design is a bit basic as well these are just personal opinions but with that and bugs at this point I will wait and see the final product before deciding to put a full $60 or wait on it. Hopefully we are surprised by the final product. I played on ps4 pro an also encounter some slight frame rate dips during later encounters. I'm sure it is smoother on next gen and come pcs. So definitely have my eye on this game.
Oh and late con but I am curious to see a good variety do loot. Seems to be quite a bit in the demo hopefully it just a taste of the final product.
Story is a little generic but the combat is fun as hell. Especially with friends when all the classes are playing off each other. Loot was great as well, and I like that it's not a live service game. Loved the dark sci fi world as well. I plan to grind this game out with friends on release!
Haven't played it. Commenting for engagement
It's another loot and shooter whit a boring story i think where you can buy in-game items probably.
The quality of games is getting worse and worse in the last few years in my opinion.
The most fun i get are all the indie games that trying there damn best in making a great game.
A lot of people like these kinda games i can understand, but it's not my cup of tea.
I am right in that "meh" area… Game runs fine, classes are enjoyable, each plays differently (and kinda pre-determines which weapons will be used f.e. snipers for technomancer).
Story seems good so far, has that element of mystery. Gunplay feels OKish, enemies are sometimes spongy, especially bosses with their spam heal ability are kinda meh.
What bothers me is that corridor-ish design of maps screaming "cover here, and there and then there". Other thing that i dont really like is the healing system that basically forces you to use skills and combos just to heal.
What is even worse is skilltree – most skills offer flat bonuses which is bizzare and level cap 30 makes me really worried about endgame and stuff. I would rather see flat stat bonuses in Accolades/Challenges (instead of cosmetics… geez) and something truly unique in Skilltree. In this aspect, Borderlands 3 did much better.
Problem is, we know nothing about crafting, we know nothing about how well is game ballanced for solo vs. teams (plenty of games fail to find a ballance and makes game easier for teams), we know nothing about world tiers, about endgame in general.
But yea, in the end… enjoyable but nothing extra. Average, similar to Division etc., nothing special, nothing new, looks good, plays good… I would give 7/10 but will i buy? For 60€ AND online only? Geez, this is a tough one.
This game caught me off guard and I really enjoyed it to the point I level capped all 4 classes. I never do this so I preordered
Pros:
-most abilities feel good. Some feel utterly amazing.
-mods for abilities actually feel impactful and can actually change how they work fundamentally.
-synergy with other class abilities in a team feels amazing. Playing with friends improves game experience.
– Wonderful build flexibility, with varying options to switch up your playstyle entirely without too much hassle.
-sick looking endgame loot.
-world tier system
Cons:
-seizure inducing camera.
-motion blur.(supposedly can be disabled in full game)
-gunplay isnt tight, feels really meh at times.
-generic 'arena' battlefields, with very linear pathing.
-cover system is a joke, more likely to get you killed than to save you.
