Making a game pop is just the way to do it cause of this generation, back in the late 90s early 2000s we never had games that pop in colors, we just cared about the gameplay mainly but now the industry has set a standard for how games should look etc etc so I think it should be wise for the devs to make the game pop a little more just for those people that actually look at these things in games
