Welcome Back To Level Headed Gamer

Outriders is a looter shooter developed by People Can Fly. You will have a choice between 4 different classes and a story driven campaign and full blown endgame content. Today let us discuss whether legendary farming is worth doing in the demo. I know alot of people will disagree with this but i think it is a healthy and cool discussion to have. Please let’s keep it civil!

  1. The problem with your opinion is that, it’s because YOU personally got bored and burnt out.

Grinding does make sense because getting those mods and resources will make the story portion much more fun and testing builds and getting creative. It is your opinion and you’re entitled to it.

  2. There is only one reason I would farm for specific legendary weapons right now, and that's if one of the 10 mods was build-enabling, like the mod from Golem's Limb. Once the full game releases, all 46 weapons and all legendary armor pieces will be added to the loot table, decreasing your chances of getting a specific legendary mod even if overall drop rates increase.

At this point, the mod on Thunderbird seems like it will help some people blaze a path to endgame but discovery and experimentation are a major draw for me.

  3. I have at least 30 hours into the demo. No legendaries….. I think it's mostly worth the grind to stack materials and disassemble for mods. The burnout is definitely real though.

  4. The goal is to have fun and be powerful. I mean, it's a demo guys…it's going to get boring. It's a demo!!!!! But if you're squishy now, you'll probably be squishy later. Rewards are for the strong, not the 30 minute players expecting glorious results.
