  1. I have been digging your content! Keep it up. I hope we keep getting more and more game play for you to break down. I wanted to know, have you played Remnant: From the Ashes? This game reminds me a lot of it, but with more emphasis on loot. It was excellent, so if you are looking for something to play for the next month.

  4. Honestly, I just want Destiny to have some competition. Bungie has been way too lazy with Destiny. Something just needs to come around to make them nut up or shut up, so I'm looking forward to this game. Not preordering though. Probably wait a day or two..

  5. I dont think Outriders will/can take down Destiny, nor do I want it to. Don't get me wrong though, I really, really want Outriders to be good, and if it's not I'm going to be really disappointed, but I don't think it can take down Destiny.

  6. Spot on with the Destiny issues. I always liked D2 for the snappy and agile feeling combat. It just felt good. But there is no power gain in it. Mobs constatly scale so getting better gear never really feels like an upgrade. You just do it to not get left behind or to unlock content. Outriders being PvE only is a big + for me. So many games i have played where PvP balance screws over PvE gameplay. Thumbs up!

  7. This game would of actually be better if it was going for a game of service model. I maybe in the minority but game of service have a longer life support. Even if this game is a hit….I donā€™t see it lasting long without game of service model. The only looter that I can think of thatā€™s not a game service that people still play is borderlands… However Iā€™d imagine the numbers of people left is low. I donā€™t mind micro transactions as long as more content is being put in the game and itā€™s not pay to win. Game of service itā€™s not a bad thing lol… those company take gigantic risk by investing resources into a game that may not stick…. perfect example…. Marvel Avengers.

  8. I hope that Outriders did their homework with the previous looters and took away the things they wasnt doing. It seem to be heading in the right direction and i just want something i can grind: feel power as i progress and not be limited to create a ACTUAL build. Destiny, for me, is on the final legs. Same BS, different season.

  9. Destiny is just still being played cause of the hardcore bungie fanboys. As someone who played massive amounts of halo when bungie was the company, and played destiny 1 like a mad man, d2 sh*t the bed. They have been trying to figure out what to do for like 6 years and still can't figure it out. It's the same old bullsh*t, you get a bunch of useless weapons as well. Only like 1 or 2 weapons worth using. And they end up nerfing everything cause pvp ends up being too crazy. When they realize they need to have specific armor and guns for pvp and pve, they will excel. Should mostly focus on pve, and just simplify pvp. Pvp doesnt need to have so many options. Simplicity is key in multiplayer.

  10. The perfect looter shooter for me would be a looter like Diablo 2 ( itā€™s started here back in 2001) with guns. All looters should be looking at Diablo 2 not Diablo 3(Diablo 3 sucks…disgraceful game after D2) for inspiration. Instead, the devs of these games keep borrowing from MMORPG genre with raids and crap. You donā€™t need a raid to make a good looter game. Diablo 2 is the pinnacle of a looter. All you need is good loot, some pvp, random generate enemies and maps…. bam you got a good looter …call me old school but when I was a child everyone who own a pc was gaming on Diablo 2 before World of Warcraft took over.

The power fantasy should always be met when you have a cohesive build that has synergy. Like I said above these devs are looking at MMORPG. When they should be looking at games like Path of Exile for you new cats or D2. The fun in these games is using your brain to put together insane builds that break the game. Also, the randomness…. for example someone could play for a hour find the best item in the game…. someone could play for years and never find it. The RNG and power fantasy are part of the addiction. Also build diversity is key besides the obvious interesting loot.

  11. I played Destiny since the beginning and still do, but one my biggest complaints is and always has been that the power fantasy is nearly nonexistent. I canā€™t stand being 2 shot by dregg thatā€™s 200 power level below me. Thatā€™s why Iā€™m excited about the world tiers system is Outriders. This way I can drop the level and destroy stuff if I want. If I want a challenge and better loot, then Iā€™ll raise the world tier. Letā€™s hope itā€™s good.

  12. I pre purchased outriders this past weekend. Trying to find how they match players for coop. The game is coming out next month & have not found one video about the it. Myself going with the pyromancer, in broadcast #1 liked how her abilities were enough to get by the 1st level.

  13. Okay I'm liking everything but the lack of a "big move". They have taken a warframic/neverwinteric approach to mods and abilities. However, I still need that big boom..the trap card..the nuke..the press 4 to.win

  14. Iā€™m so sick of the laziness of devs like Bungie, where it is nothing but the same bullshit over and over again. We need a game to come out that rips these devs back to earth and takes the crown either that or puts a shit ton of pressure on them. Please for the sake of the genre or industry standards please outriders break the mold and become a legend to us.

  15. Destiny is not "call of duty", is "borderlands".
PCF made not only Gears of War, also Bulletstorm and Painkiller (and fortnite pc version), they know how to create a good shooter.

  16. like the perk system a lot and looks, I played the crap out of gears horde mode – this is just the tip of the iceberg for me.
Technomancer is gonna be ma boi (but I will level/gear the crap out of every class after him).

Oh, so you mean before it was a Battle Royale? :p

In regards to nerfing for PvP, I honestly don't understand why Destiny 2 did what it did. They should've just solely nerfed things IN multiplayer and kept that separate from the main game. If they CAN'T do that, then just put fuckin load-outs in PvP with the SKIN of your gun on it. Ffs.

  19. looking to main devastator. I always liked tank classes, but I am going to be playing with my 2 brothers so its really going to depend what they feel like playing as well. From what it looks like though all the classes will mesh really well

  20. Its lack of live service puts it on a different field than Destiny, its closer to like Diablo 2 insofar as how its content's life span may last. Will have to be good at launch of doomed basically.

  24. Destiny 2 is more like a light MMO tbh, and Outriders looks to be co-op rpg. Biggest difference (and win to me) is that loot is not player bound. Not being able to trade is the worst thing in Destiny.

  25. I don't understand this game. Destiny 2 is an MMO right? Essentially. As far as I know, Outriders has no such features? It's just a co-op game. Does it have any online hubs, world events where you can see many other people. I assume all that MMO stuff is part of the Destiny appeal as well as PVP. Therefore, Outriders is even competing in the same ballpark. I've only played Destiny 2 for a tad but, but not anymore. I was looking forward to this game, I just don't see the point of all it's progression systems without MMO like features. Unless I've somehow missed that part of the game. Outriders will not be a destiny killer oO
