  1. CyberPunk wanted to delay there project also, but the complaints and threats forced them to put it out . So I can't agree there bruh…However, I do feel that companies should put out a complete project. But ppl also need to understand and go back to some content creator videos that poked fun or even had thousands of comments saying how CP2077 wasn't coming out until 2077 and things of that nature. So now that it has came out and it has its issues everyone wants to cry about it. Nope! Some need to admit we share a blame in it as the fans were always at CD Project Red's throat about the release dates. I can remember them saying they were going to push the date back to fix it and ppl getting upset. Now that other games see what happen and they push their game back we all are like yes good job. No! Keep that same energy…ask for more bug filled games to support and send threats to the developers. I do fill that Outriders is going to be a good game, but I want them to also take their time to make a complete game. Is it going to have some issues…Yes, I'm sure it will bc what game hasn't at this point. It may be one or two but I'm fine with that as long as the devs listen to the community unlike our favorite game the Division 2. Although I was looking forward to playing Outriders in excitement…the delay is welcomed.

  2. All in all, yes, this is a good thing, and to answer your pinned question, definitely, more publishers should offer demos to players so people can try out a game before they commit to purchasing it. If nothing else, people trying it out will may get more to purchase because they get somewhat invested and swept up in the action and progression. Those things are good. But…I do have some concerns.

For example, while it's a good thing that they're pushing this as "not a live service," and we definitely need more games like that, games that AREN'T live services, that don't have top tier stories, characters, systems, etc., have a sizable risk of dropping off and being ignored down the road. Feeding into that…I've heard that demo progress will carry over into the full game release. This is something people typically want from betas and demos, because they don't want their efforts wasted or potential great drops wiped. But those that want to be far ahead of the pack will play the demo to completion, as far as they can go, and if they purchase, they'll have less game to play once full release occurs, meaning retention rates may end up being lower post launch, meaning the devs may have to expedite DLC or post-launch content to keep people playing, otherwise they'll risk losing people, as those people eager to be high endgame players are gonna hit the content wall far sooner than they would if everyone started from scratch on launch.

I don't know, I could be really off base, and I'm not trying to deflate hype for this game. It looks cool, I'll definitely check out the demo, for sure. I just don't want expectations to be higher than what they should conceivably be.

  3. Anthem It did the same before the launch, and it was a failure! One thing is certain, I never do a pre-order again. I always wait for the release and only then do I see if I buy the game. I learned from cyberpunk!🤣

  4. I do think the is more square enix trying to protect a new IP because they can't lose money again like they did with marvel avengers. This game is gonna rock though, I'm so excited. Plus the demo will move into your game when is fully released! I'm building all 4 classes up!

  5. I used to believe that games get delayed for proper optimization

Now i believe it's definitely either
    1) bad leadership or
    2) to cut content or
    3) generate over hype or
    4) hit for holidays for more sale or
    5) game isn't even made so hurry up the crunch and leak the news so thet fans get the idea that devs are working so damn hard or
    6) all of em at once

  6. Demos are nice and all but I still wouldn't trust everything tbh. If we were back in PS1 era I'd be 100% confident in the demos I've played, but with this day and age I'm always gonna just wait till the release of said game and wait that 1st month of their release to see how things play out. Really gotta be smart with ones money.

  7. The game won’t come out to like another 3 years and it still will be in a beta stage and people will like the game and that it change the landscape but it’s really a copy n paste of all other games in one
