Having talked about overloaded champions let’s get more specific and talk about overpowered abilities! I genuinely think a lot of champions are only considered “OP” because of one specific ability. The rest of their kit would likely be fine if not for just that one thing. What do you guys think? Let me know!

  1. ''darius is a juggernaut, so he is slow even with stride breaker'' me in a teamfight, seeing darius using ghost and nimbus cloak to run past all of us to kill our adc
    with soul unbound, i kinda agree but yone has the same issues as yasuo, aka point and click cc like pantheon, annie, and malz just destroy them regardless of their kit if that player knows how the matchup works also along with that, yone has a set amount of time before he has to go back, so you can just trap him on his ghost for an easy 300gs
    if it were to up me, the number 1 op ability in the game would be just veigar's entire kit, but since it can only be one ability, then i would have to say r. veigar is just an absolute terribly champion. ''oh whats this? you got stunned one time, well looks like i'm going to get a free kill'' qss is the on thing that can beat it, but even then he can just burst you down with q r. if he a: didn't have his stun, or b: didnt infinitely stack ap, then he would be a way more fucking bearable champ

  2. i think its funny how people fear pyke more than yone. pykke becomes useless fast if he doesnt have a reliable team and shields can prevent pyke ult from killing, also its actually very easy to cunter pyke just by picking a high mobility + damage like nami or karma or a high cc + damage like zyra or brand as supp so same as with most supports it is high risk high reward as for a yone just needs to group with a reliable support and even when like 0/8/0 he can start snowballing (recently happened when i as a nami started playing around a yone), also a pyke that is behind has close to no impact in the game anymore usually (i know he can shut down high prio targets easier but he usually needs the support of his teammates for that) but at the other hand its just my opinion XD

  3. About the windshitters, its not the windwall or the spirit form that is op, it is the fact that they need only 2 items for 100% crit thanks to their passive, and as an adc main who needs 5 items for the same effect this really drives me crazy

  4. True damage, Invisibility, Camuflage for ranged champions, Untargetability, Windwall type spells. Those are all things that should just not exist in the game since they dont have any viable counter.

  5. The only ability I really hated was Akali's new W on release as you mentioned but they fixed it so it doesn't work against turrets so yea I'm fine with them. They're annoying but at the same time it just means we need to learn how to face it which is cool.

  6. For me it’s Sett W, Sett kit is stupid good already but this skill is on another level of stupid it does stupid amount of true and physical AOE dmg. It also give Sett basically Garen passive and Tahm Kench bubble skill. Sett has no losing match up because of this

  7. Leona W i mean its not flashy and nobody rly is scared of it afaik but its just such a high boost of tanky on such a low cd its obnoxious how tabky it actually makes her

  8. I think talking about the old ashe kid would be better when talking about older champion kits.
    Her passive gave her a guaranteed crit that would be charged like you'd charge rapidfire cannon.
    Her q was a toggle which would consume mana every autoattack and give a slow in exchange.
    The other abilities weren't changedl, except her e which didn't have two charges.

  9. so let me get this straight. He said an ability is considered overpowered if it cant be countered or it doesnt matter if u are 10/0 or 0/10 and yet makes an example of pyke r which is an ability that can be countered with as little as a galeforce if ur champion has no mobility or a 600 gold stopwatch. as a person that mains this champion for 2 seasons now i can clearly say that if u are 0/10 there is actually no way u can execute someone just because ur R execute range is this last 2 basic attacks of the champion s health bar making it hard to execute not to mention healing which means 1 hp more than ur execute range means u dont deal dmg, so in my opinion this accusation is pure garbage and u have clearly not played pyke

  10. Actually surprised Malphite ult isnt here.
    Its good for oneshotting champion’s
    Catching up to champion’s
    Running away from champions
    Immunity to Cc/heavyCC except for bad ult.
    Its a heavy CC
    Its a Teamfight engaging ability.
