What a lovely video dedicated to the australian wildlife and flora lost to the wildfires.

Not you pausing in the middle of a butt slap at 7:21 💀😂
I don't know…after a couple of watches I feel like the little clips, videos and polaroid pictures throughout the MV symbolize memories (because of the grain typical of older clips and recordings, as if they used an old camera to film it) that the boys (especially Chan and Felix) made at the places pictured in it…and that them being happy at the end is a recalling of said memories that are definitely set in the past. A past they can't reach and that will never be the same, because the places they would visit will never look the same after the fires… And do you know the movie Jumper? The main character was able to "jump" through space through polaroids and photos – taking him to places he had visited before – maybe its a small nod to it but I might be reaching…😅
If you refrigerate / freeze a damp cloth and then hold it against your wrists, neck, and or temple it'll help keep you cool, if you like.
I know exactly how Chan and Felix feel. It's our home 🇦🇺❤️🩹
I believe the southern hemisphere has more solar radiation so the sunlight is brighter, it has to do with the ozone hole in that part of the planet that makes the sunlight more strong and the weather hot.
I think the photos represent places that don't exist anymore due to the wildfires and the lyrics, to me, seem to be about missing someone who has passed away, they seem to struggle to cope with the loss.
Your videos, when you upload, used to be first on my YT homepage but now it doesn't show, I refreshed several times and nothing… I have to type your name. I guess Youtube doesn't recommend me your videos anymore because you changed the name of the channel… lol
Completely agree about the light difference. I always think of grey/muted light when I remember Europe/UK whereas here in Aus it's a bit fiercer and brighter.
You're take on the sentiments they were conveying in the M/V was interesting. The juxtaposition of the somber faces and bright colour/beat gave me bittersweet vibes, like they feel the loss from the fires, but they're glad that home is still there for them to return to, even if it's not quite the same.
I believe the light is different because the southern hemisphere is closer to the sun due to the tilt of the planet on it’s axis. I heard from some documentary film crew who were working with David Attenborough that when they film in Tassie (the triangular shaped island state at the bottom of Australian, my home state) that they had to relearn how to calibrate their camera equipment due to the difference in light, not only from the rest of the world but also from Mainland Australia.
I love how you can tell that Channie and Lix feel at home. It reminds me of one of the SKZ talkers where I.N said he felt like Australia was his second home and I think all of the boys feel like that to some extent. They must hear about Aus so much from Lix and Channie and I’m sure the comfort radiating off them when they are home would rub off on the others. I hope that they all get more chances to just come and hang out here together (not just coming to perform) now that travel isn’t as difficult.
