  1. Have you tried drybrushing? It's a really quick and effective way of bringing a bit more detail to the model. I think if you drybrushed the armour with a lighter colour after you applied the green it would really pop. Once you've mastered that you could move on to edge highlights which is a lot easier than it looks.

  2. Nice choice of colours! I so love my Contrast paints, lol. I painted up a few undead gunslingers the other day and they look great and were relatively faster than if I would have done traditional base coats and washes. I also love using Contrast paints with other regular base paints for some cool effects, and like you said, more painting means more experimenting. I quite enjoyed the video!
Also, thanks for the tip on the other video (Top 10 Contrast Paints) about the Army Painter mixing balls! I picked some up the next day from my FLGS and they work great in those Contrast pots (I don't have to throw out my arm every time I shake them up now, heh).

  3. Really great model ! Nice colors (love the Gryph-Hound Orange, might grab a pot for the Necron Project of a friend) great mini and a really nice base ! Plus, now you have a Tallyman to help you keep count of your pile of "ongoing projects" =P.

Tallyman: "Sooooooo Angela, where are we ? Ohhhhhh, well, well, well….."

Again, great job ! Have a great week =).

  5. Never really painted too much using contrast paints, pretty much old school paint style. Your choice of Military green has inspired me to buy a pot and give it a try. Looking forward to seeing your whole army.

  6. Wow….thats epic…..one suggestion…if you do book covers again, try and use Rinox Hide but a bit watered down…on that wraithbone the rinoxhide would look amazing…try it if the situation emerges again..
