With months and potentially years to go before the Paralives Steam launch, it’s going to be a long wait for what’s shaping up to be one of the best life sims money can buy. To be fair, there’s only one life sim to beat, and it’s made by EA. Pitting Paralives vs Sims is inevitable. But, regardless of its smaller development team and comparatively miniscule budget, comparisons with EA’s best of the best life sim games are favourable. In other words, dis game good.

Whether it’s Paralives vs The Sims 4, or vs The Sims 5, this game has incredible details you won’t find anywhere else. For instance, the in-game Paralives character creator, the seamless Paralives building options (raise walls, split levels), and Paralives customisation of anything and everything thanks to the re-colour meter.

In terms of abodes, you’ve got so much control over your Paralives house that the only limit is your feeble imagination. If you mess it up, it’s completely and entirely 100% your fault. When you’ve made your bed, you’ll quite literally have to lie in it. Or you could just create a second, much bigger house next door and live in that. It’s up to you really.

Now, I’ve used all of the material released so far for this video. That includes Patreon posts, website updates, and lots of Paralives trailer footage. Think of this as my Paralives reaction, but delayed by several days because I had to go and sit in a dark room to formulate my thoughts before painstakingly writing every word of my script and performing it in a way that seems spontaneous but really caused me to have several breakdowns.

Buuut it should all be worthwhile when this dollhouse game releases and becomes one of the best life simulations ever made. I’ve invested too much at this point for it to fail. I’ve invested too much.
