I believe that wood floor pattern is "herringbone"
Sometimes when I see Paralives I think it’s not a real game, like they only make animations that imitate real gameplay and it’s just a prank xD actually i wouldnt be surprised if Paralives never came out
Let's hope the gameplay is as good as the create modes, otherwise, its going to be a much-hyped disappointment.
It seems like they have done some design changes to the paras, which I approve off. Maggie looks so much better now
I'm excited for this game! Not as a replacement for The Sims, but just as it's own game. It will give me something else to play when I'm burned out on Sims games.

I actually think the paralives colorwheel is fantastic! to me, what was overwhelming about the Sims 3 customization was the overload of patterns. also the different socks on each foot – when I tell you that my jaw DROPPED.
I love the graphics. The balance between realism and cartoons is at least for me really appealing.
I love seeing all the behind the scenes stuff. That's the reason why I'm supporting them on patreon – the other reason being that I just want to support this game. 💚
My sole reason for not supporting Paralives is that it will be exclusive to Steam. I emailed the devs about making it available on GOG or other storefronts and they wrote back that don't plan to do so. I don't buy from Steam, so I won't be playing it. I suppose the rise of a competing life simulation still has some value for fans of this type of game but I can't get excited for Paralives or feel any sort of goodwill toward the devs.
I just love how the shadows actually cast onto her unlike SOME other Lifesim game haha

Sims 4/EA: best we can do is swatches with off looking colours releases adjustable swatches
Paralives: has skin tones that look correct, colour wheel and hex codes from the beginning

I can't wait to play this game! They're putting so much love, attention, and detail into it… I'm ready to wait for however long it takes for us to get this game, despite what I said at the beginning of this comment, lol. I just want to get in and play. Every new update gets me so giddy!
Also, Maggie has gotten even better looking. I'm happy!

I really hope we could buy our clothes and only own these ones like in the sims 2, it's a little thing but it adds challenge and realism. In the sims 4 when I create new outfits I can't remember exaclty which clothes my sims are supposed to own and I don't like them to have new apparel almost everyday.
Also layering would be absolutely awesome 😍

I love everything I've seen about this game so far and I get more and more excited the more I see, it looks so soft, warm and inviting. It just gives me such a soothing vibe and I hope we'll get to see more of the characters interacting, not just with objects but with each other. If heights still stay a thing in this game I'm also very curious to see how and if they react differently based on heights. (Like hugging, because everyone likes hugs.)
Hey, has anyone noticed how similar Paralives’s development is to Minecraft? Stay with me here. One person shows his quits his job and shows off a video concept to the world. People love it. Both games have a pre-alpha, alpha, beta, and release stages. AND both started off as indie games everyone want/wanted to see succeed badly, myself included. So in terms of development, let’s not compare it to other big companies like EA but like small, powerful companies like Mojang or Joey Drew Studios. Just food for thought. Sorry to keep on ranting.😳😅

I’ve also seen mention of them looking towards options for disabilities, which I LOVE. I’ve always wanted things like disabilities in The Sims and gotten a lot of weird comments, saying that Sims is meant to be utopian so disabilities wouldn’t exist, but I think that implies that disabilities are a fault and something negative. Its really something we should normalise and I hope they continue towards it for a realistic and positive representation in the game.

I am so excited for this game!!! I am so so over EA. We need more studios doing these type of simulation games that don't look childish. We have 20 shooters, star wars and racing games on the market, but only one realistic simulation game… that is not that realistic anymore 🤔

I think for all the clothing you might have to go to the store and buy clothing like in the sims 2..
