  1. This was a SUPER interesting mission for me, especially because I identify as a Roman Catholic Christian. I had a lot of things to sort through and say about it during my LP. Surprisingly, I didn't consider it messed up, despite my religious affiliation. And I feel like most people in the Catholic Church would be heavily disturbed by it. While I may not have agreed with what he was doing, I felt that he had the right to express himself and voice whatever message he was trying to voice as his dying request. Whether or not people accept his message, find it offensive, makes them think, or anything in between is a different story. But to me that is separate from giving him the right to exercise his freedom of speech.

As a gay person myself, I run into a lot of people who disagree with my sexuality. But despite disagreeing with it, many of those same people still believe in and support my basic human rights. And I am grateful for that! That's what I was trying to do for this man here. Again, it's A LOT to unpack, and it still leaves me pondering hard on it to this day!

  2. Johnny's comment of "are you not the messiah?" is something people skip over as him being overly dramatic, but in biblical accounts when Jesus was on the cross he was also crucified with a killer and thief on either side of him and they were kinda having this debate. so it's kinda fitting that V was with him at the end since Johnny could be considered the killer and V the thief, or depending on how you're playing it, you could consider V one in the same.

  3. This was one of the few missions where I had to pause the game and stand back. I know there's a lot of dissociation between gamers and games these days, your actions don't reflect who you are etc but my morbid curiosity pushed me on this one and I had one of those snap moments where I just sat there and said to myself "I just nailed a guy to a fucking cross so it could be recorded and profited from." Like, there's been a ton of games where I've made choices and never game them a second thought but this one? This one stuck with me for a few days afterwards, don't even think hard core begins to describe it.

  4. I talked to him and crucified him after talking to the arasaka scientist at the motel (2 missions after main story).
I kinda agree with Jonny here. It was uncomfortable, but Joshua had the right intention.
After the stuff he did, Josh wanted the pain of death to be felt by anyone who will view it.
Jonny respected him, he related to him. Yeah he was gonna die, but he wanted his death to mean something.
Also 47:16 you did the same and ended up with a bullet to the head. Be careful with these two

  5. The braindance sequences were kinda crap in this, there's an older game called Remember Me that treated this concept alot better. If you ever get a chance, you should consider playing it Jess! It was made by the same people that did Life is Strange.

  6. At first I honestly had no sympathy for this guy as well, but after seeing how he was acting and how much he truly believed in what he was talking about I almost kind of felt bad for him. Sure he did some fucked up shit but I really feel like he regretted his actions and truly wanted forgiveness. He just wanted to spread his message and use himself as an example to hopefully stop anyone else from ending up like him. Unfortunately, this seemed to be the only way he knew how. But Idk, it might just be the 'nice canadian' side of me talking lol.

Edit: Why were people calling it a cult? The only reason why they studio was involve was because they wanted to take advantage of a mentally ill person and make money off of em. Unless you wanna call the corporation themselves a cult lol
