Friday Night Funkin’ is an open-source donationware rhythm game first released in 2020 for a game jam. The game was developed by a team of four Newgrounds users, Cameron “ninjamuffin99” Taylor, David “PhantomArcade” Brown, Isaac “Kawai Sprite” Garcia, and evilsk8r.

It is a musical rhythm game where you compete in freestyle music battles. The father of your girlfriend is always a pain, because no matter what you do, you may never be good enough for his daughter. In Friday Night Funkin, you are the “Boyfriend”, and this cliché comes together in a colorful and musical mash. The fun of Friday and the stress of meeting your significant other’s father will make your knees shake and your heart tingle.

  5. This is fantastic, the all sound so clean! Pico over Hypno is perfect since he's great at freestyling. 0:49 – 0:58 I love the melody here, it's my fav part and Tankman makes it even better! And now about Hank, even tho I'm used to Online VS's Hank voice, I like this one too, he sounds really calm. Great job 💯👍

    "Not bad youngin, but your mess with a vet" Hank quipped Pico looked up and saw the piano over his head and dodged it
    "Dang I was jokin about yo age this is Warner status Doc" Pico snickered
    "I thought it was low-key funny "Hank howled
    "Leave the cheese to Sans I'm lactose intolerant, anyway stop with hand jobs I wanted to catch up hop in the tank let's bounce" Captain said after pulling up in his tank earlier" "After all that I am hungry, my line of work that still surprises me" Hank chuckled and with that they pulled off.
