Pan had the appearance of having goat legs and being half man from above, with horns. It is argued that pan was possibly the most worshipped Greek god, and surprisingly the only one that died out of the Greek gods. The word “Panic” derived from Pan, as he was thought of bringing fear to men who were chased by him through the forest, hearing his screams as he was entertained in bringing fear to others.
