the error you got on the lua script is that either the guy made the mod forgot to put "end",to the function, or either had trouble with the code and gave up on it.
had experienced that one before, and it seems to be the Zoom in function onCreate.
well either way it didn't actually ruin the whole background, and that's great. ( the mod isn't that great I'd say but it's decent. )
