[Piano+Sheet] Genshin Impact – Yakshas: The Guardian Adepti Piano Arrangement

Orz..this is probably one of my worst arrangement ever. It was more like experimental arrangement for me to choose sth which I think is quite difficult to arrange for piano (at least for myself). I’ve been thinking about the idea the whole night for the middle part, those ostinato-like notes are running everywhere. At the end, I choose to make it more playable by creating some running semiquavers in right hand which I think is bit awkward at the end. (I regret to try to follow the original part which lack the intensity on the piano, and sounds very slow as well)

I choose to still record it because it’s not hard to play at the original speed and I want to get some feedback from audience. I’m not expecting much. Feel free to give criticism/suggestion about the arrangement. Thank you for those who still listen to this 😀 hahaha

And thank @JasperHu again for helping editing the sheet (which is still on-going) and checking the harmony.

  2. Even if it's not your best arrangement, it was definitely still interesting to listen to 🙂 I think the parts you say sound 'slow' and lack intensity have more impact because of the breaks in the onslaught of noise, like you said similar to the original. Each chord has more impact because it's the only thing you hear besides the semiquavers. Perhaps I feel this way because I know the original and the video is there to help remind of the story; maybe you're right and it sounds slow and boring on its own. In that case maybe you could add a couple more between notes in the left hand between chords, like grace notes or semi quavers leading up to each chord or seperately as texture, and more strongly accent certain notes in the runs on the right hand, perhaps into two note chords. At least that's what I think 🙂

  3. Hey, your pretty skilled on the piano! I especially liked you Ganyu trailer musical peace! I was wondering if you would be willing to try playing "Post success depression – C418" since I have not seen anyone playing it on youtube :). It could just be a cool challenge for you!
