'Play Limit' Token-Operated Video Game Parenting Aid

This is the ‘Play Limit’ a token-operated parenting aid from 2005. It’s built and designed very well, unfortunately it only does RF and composite, which were on their way out by that time. If this had been released 10 years earlier, I’d imagine it would have been very popular.

  1. Things I've noticed in the week since: 1) load the tokens 1 at a time, or they will jam. 2) if the unit is not level (or right side higher), token may not exit the mech, adding to the 'jam' situation. 3) this token receiver 'personality' comes from its shape being somewhat resistant to 'attack' with sticks, wires etc. 4) it plays a little chime and displays the time left on the screen for a couple seconds when a token is inserted. (it's the same little display that comes up with pause). Still having a blast earning tokens 😉
