  1. went and played this on my 970 mix of medium high settings. with a couple set to ultra even… its for sure was a lot smoother than watching the game being streamed.
so yeah its playable on lower end hardware 2 and still looks pretty good doing it. (oh yeah had to drop to 1080 from 1440 to save some vram), but yeah i got playable framerates on the 970 i have… you just gotta fiddle with the quality settings…

also auto aim is on by default in the settings. apparently auto snap to target is a thing on consoles. but the game has it on regardless of whether theirs no controller attached.. turn it off if you want any kind of accuracy.

  3. Love the game but settings are poorly optimized. I have 3900x and 3080 I run most games in ultra at over 120 FPS without RTX. In this game rtx on or off don't matter it barely pulls 50. Inventory is the worse when you have loads of stuff it runs at 5 FPS an UI?!?! Ridiculous

  4. Must be running 4k or higher on that 3090 cos the 40fps is pitiful for that card.
I'm on 3440×1440, exact same settings I think (the Ray-traced lighting option set to "Psycho" knocks the framerate down an extra 10fps from the Ultra setting),
Running an [email protected], Turbo, all cores and stock 3080 and my framerate sitting still is about 48fps, I get better averages though, the latest Nvidia drivers designed for this game increase the framerate a tad so if you're not using them then you should be, although even 40fps is probably playable.

Ran the MSI Benchmark last night and recorded it over 45 minutes of various gameplay, walking, running, driving, fire fights etc and these were the results.
I'm pretty pleased with the results considering the settings are so damn high, one notch below maximum.

    10-12-2020, 09 22 34 Cyberpunk2077.exe benchmark completed, 205659 frames rendered in 2711.735 s

    Average framerate : 75.8 FPS

    Minimum framerate : 40.1 FPS

    Maximum framerate : 666.9 FPS

    1% low framerate : 41.9 FPS

    0.1% low framerate : 24.1 FPS
The framerate is not really consistent though across the whole of the gameplay, I just literally got off the game and its nearly 2am here in the UK, and over a 25 minute period (from when I started playing at 9pm last night) I had different results and all I did differently was increase the 3080's power limit to 109%, but I did get an update too today I think so maybe that's where the increase in framerate came from.

    10-12-2020, 22 12 04 Cyberpunk2077.exe benchmark completed, 159746 frames rendered in 1457.235 s

    Average framerate : 109.6 FPS

    Minimum framerate : 46.5 FPS

    Maximum framerate : 1293.4 FPS

    1% low framerate : 46.9 FPS

    0.1% low framerate : 18.3 FPS

    Bit weird tbh.

  5. I started playing after the update finished while you were streaming, at a very slow 2 MBs. It took a while.

I started as a male street kid and the gameplay was started in the same way. I have a 10700K (not overclocked), Z490, 32GB DDR4 3200 with an RTX 2080 and I was getting 40-60 fps at 1080p. I went with all of the video defaults except I did change the field of view to full, 100, not the default of 80. I chose some different answers with Kirk and along the way but I was still tasked with stealing the car to settle the debt. You chose to try to gun it with the car and I didn't but we ended up the same.

There may be choices and they may make the outcome sometimes but there is definitely some linear movement to this game. I didn't get much further than lunch though. I had to go.

  6. I remember the first game from the late 80's early 90's. Of course it looked like garbage but the game play for the time was intriguing and fun, kept bringing you back to crack it! Hacking was a puzzle, took time, wish I still had it. Just remembered it was called "Neuromancer" .

  7. Wait… is rt with dlss locked at 60fps? Kyle’s running a 3090. My 3070 on a 1080p with a ryzen 3600 run at 45-55 and i don’t know whether i should be worried or not

  8. Hello,

I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and a GTX 1070. I want to upgrade my computer, so what GPU should I buy? 3070 or 3060 Ti? The prices here In my country is OUTRAGEOUS should I wait for it to go down?

RTX 3080 here is 90k or about $1,800 USD
RTX 3070 here is about 60k Or about $1,200 USD
And the RTX 3060 Ti is about 35k or about $600 USD

Those are "Official" prices from the "Official Retailers"

I'm not planning on upgrading my CPU because I'm hoping that I can spend it on GPU instead of buying the new 5600x. So I thinking og getting 3070 or 3060 Ti. Which should I get? Or should I wait for the prices to go down? Or should I just stick with my 1070 or at least while waiting for the prices to go down?
