  3. I keep telling people this whole idea of buying large studios is a bad precedent for the industry. You don't want monopolies to happen and you don't want independent studios to be under a small amount of companies it's going to lead to less innovation and bad management for developers. I'm cool with acquiring smaller studios, but we need 3rd party companies to remain in the industry.

  11. If Microsoft continues to buy big publishers I cannot see any other choice for Sony other than doing something similar. Otherwise, the industry will be extremely unbalanced. One things for sure, Microsoft has never been a good games software company and have a lot to prove in this department. Having over 20 studios already is going to be a nightmare to have quality control. Biting way too much off if you ask me ..

  16. I love Sony FPG But there is a huge argument here Sony has been buying studios for years.
    They started this back in late 90's when they blocked Nintendo from getting key games on the game cube they have also blocked Xbox from getting certain games as well and they are still doing it today… ie final fantasy 7 RM, Nioh, final fantasy online and tons of other games Sony has also been blocking Xbox from being sold in the same regions as they have and everyone keeps giving Sony credit for selling more consoles if we look at US sale of both PS and XBox the sales show they are very close lets than 1m with Xbox winning some small regions…but get this Sony is sold in 148 country's Out of 161 Xbox is only sold in 48 country's these are facts…But this is the info Sony youtubers don't talk about so let's be honest with people . And another thing Sony will not be buying any big studios they don't have the liquid cash to do so it's about 33b to MS 170 these are facts. Sony may buy small ones worth hundred millions not billions… Microsoft is valued at 1 trillion dollars Sony is valued at 45billion with 70billion in all around company sales… they don't have the extra capital to buy anything at the moment… these are facts.

    MS is anti consumer because again Sony has been doing this for years.

  25. Here is my opinion on this years big first party releases bro. First off we are gonna get Horizon Forbidden West. Based on Ratchet & Clank release date Horizon will release mid to late September. The quarantine and chip shortage would have to cause a total logistical failure for Forbidden West to not be released. Sony needs a game to justify us buying a PS5, and they need to provide base PS4 users with a new game too.

    As for God Of War there was never any chance it would be released this year. Microsoft has not released a single first party game to give their fans a reason to buy Series X. Sony definitely isn't gonna show all their face cards right now with a small PS5 userbase, and zero competition in the form of games from their main rival. The only reason we were given that God of War: Ragnarok teaser was to reassure Playstation fans. They want us to know our $500 new hardware purchase was well spent. Anyone who has been saying GOW Ragnarok may come this year was simply sharing their wishful thinking. Just my opinion though, and I could definitely be wrong. I did try to base it on logic though.   26. TCMF Bro the only thing that's getting risky is Sony's ability to keep up with Microsoft at this point. Microsoft xbox division in 1 quarter making enough money to buy two Bethesda's more money than Sony makes in a whole year. It's pretty clear Microsoft has the upper hand. The question is will Sony be able to keep up with the ever growing list of Triple A console exclusives that will be releasing in the coming future on xbox eco system. So far Sony seems to be doing the same thing they did last generation, buying time exclusive content an relying on their same old exclusives to see them through I doubt that's gonna be enough this generation. Hopefully Sony will find some way to innovate because there definitely going to need it this generation.

  39. Hell Spider-Man Miles Morales will still be better than Halo Infinite can ever be. Sony dont need any games to come out with Halo Infinite cause Halo will still be a super flop.

    Sega has already turned down MS and stated they will never sell to MS. If Sega was to sell they would work with Nintendo or Sony.

    Besides that MS has already announced there will not be another X-Box console MS is going cloud gaming only and GamePass will end up on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStations. So go right ahead MS buy all them companies and waist your money cause all MS games will be playable on a Nintendo Switch, PS5 or PC soon enough.

  40. I think the buyouts of major, traditionally third party studios is dangerous. The companies are trying to create reasons for people to buy their console, while failing to realize that most people simply don't have the money to own both consoles, plus the subscriptions that go along with them. I tried it with the PS4 and XBox One. Between the $60 a year for PS+ and the $30 some odd every three months for GamePass, I was spending almost $180 a year just for the subscriptions, and then having to purchase the the games I wanted as well. Many of the subscriptions are now increasing in price, or likely will in the near future, and the cost of games are going up as well. I sold my XBox because I just couldn't afford to have both anymore and Sony is my primary platform. I now look to the future seeing many of my favorite franchises are now split between both platforms, and I may be left with no choice but to eventually buy a XBox Series if I want to play the franchises that have gone to Microsoft.

  45. They've already set GOW for a 2021 release. They aren't gonna push it back to 2022. It's gonna be this year. Wish people would drop that idea. Why would they give a release year and then not follow through with it? It's only been a few months since the teaser we had, calm the fuck down.
