Which PlayStation 5 headset to buy? I couldn’t decide which headset I wanted to use on the PS5, so I got both to compare. The Sony Pulse 3D vs the Astro A20 Gen 2 headset. Which is better for style, microphone, connectivity, sound, features and build quality?

Both are wireless headsets, both are around £100/$100 and both are available now. But which one do I recommend, and which will I keep? I will compare them both side by side and give my opinion on everything. #PlayStation5 #AstroA20 #Pulse3D

  12. New subscriber – nice review I was tempted to get the pulse headset but I don’t think I will as I wanted them purely for extra immersion which it doesn’t sound like they offer.

  17. Merry Christmas! I have the pulse 3d but I also have the Steelseries Wireless Pro which are incredible. I use them both and you can definitely tell the difference in sound quality! Thanks for another great video. PS5 Headset.

  25. PS5 Headset……. I like the pulse 3D & you’re right about everything. The A20’s are amazing but recently I’ve purchased the Arctis 7P & they’re super loud. I also bought the turtle Beach 600 I think they r & they’re actually loud. My fav is the Arctis 7P

I was unsure if i could justify the extra cost of the A20’s but this has made me more confident in that choice. cheers.

  28. I bought these two and tested them just like you! I let go of the A20s unfortunately ONLY because in party they had a crazy static noise on the mic. Not sure
    if you had that ? Also for Warzone the pulse 3ds were a lot more directional i felt

  29. Great channel you got here! Astros sound quality is great, but a couple years back I bought a gen1 A50 for $380 from bestbuy.

    The sound quality was fantastic! But the build quality was cheap,, actually had to use super glue on the cheap plastic. Later on my base transmitter just stopped working and I was stuck for a while.

    Then a few years later Astro company started selling usb dongle transmitters which I was lucky enough to buy but after a move lost the small dongle. I say lucky enough cause shortly afterwards they mysteriously and quite suddenly stopped selling the dongle.

    So Im stuck with some great A50 headphones I can't use lol! When I picked up my PS5 on Nov 12th, I picked up Sony's 3D pulse headset, which isn't uber quality, but it gets the job done.

"PS5 HEADSET" Great video as I was going to upgrade the PS4 platinums but from I see I am going to see if they work on the PS5 and will probably keep them as they are a nice headset as well and foldable. I only use them when playing competitve gaming or multiplayer and they actually work on my xbox as well via 3.5 plug in so thats a plus. I did have one question and thats would you prefer to play on the CX or the NANO90-91 and why? Does the difference make up for the price and possible burn in? Thank you again for another great video.

  39. I know my opinion is terrible but I kinda like the play station headphone they seem more comfortable to wear and more stylish over the sort of boxy Bulky The white and black seem sleek and sci-fi in a weird way

  44. One of the few videos I've watched throughout… Currently have the Pulse 3D with my PS4 but was considering a swap with better options at that price point getting ready for the PS5. A10 helps with the price but was wondering if A20 might be worth the extra bucks. 3D Audio should work with all 3 since you said it comes from the console? And oh yeah.. PS5 HEADSET

  45. I'm using a Sennheiser BT headset that connects to my TV, and the sound on my PS is now way better than the wireless headsets from Sony. Added benefit is that you can use the headset for everything, like watching Netflix or Prime Video on the TV app, instead of the PS headset, that you can only use with the PS. Extra bonus is that your console doesn't have to do any sound processing, so your CPU can focus on game performance. Think these headsets might still make sense if you use a monitor with your console?
