I have to mention this. It's called CrepChiefNotify (Crep like the Crepe) and not CreepChiefNotify (Creep, like you pronounce it). Don't know if you're doing it on Purpose, but it's kinda annoying when you pronounce it CreepChiefNotify. Don't worry, i don't want to protect that Group. On the Contrary, by pronouncing it correctly zhat Group will be easier found.
I have to disagree, its the retailers fault. If there systems allow bots… thats on them. These people are smarter than the retailers website IT departments and in turn makes it harder for us to buy. But there is nothing illegal about it, they are purchasing them not stealing them. And if idiots, yes idiots want to pay 2x 3x than that is on them. If idiots stop paying that crazy price The scalpers will stop scalping. It’s Capitalism that it. This falls on the retailers not making laws. I got a Xbox from Target because they did it right!
I feel the bot ruining the experience for everybody. No one has a chance Against bots.That can check out faster than the human hand can. something has to be done with the Bots.companies have to allow the non bot to get their hands on the restock first. And make a second restock for bots only.

If they are calling for action against PS5 and Xbox Series scalpers they should do it to the people scalping the new graphics cards too. Oh and while they are at it add scalping of any item people know will be popular the time too.

Online retailers could limit sale qty to max. 1 unit per customer account and shipping address for 3 days and they get to purchase 1 more unit on 4th day. Retailer takes a day to verify details, send out order acknowledgement then confirm the charge to credit cards for approved orders. (Hotels put hold charges on cards all the time as deposit for the room in case of damages. I presume they can hold the charges till order is approved internally on the same.)

They shouldn't release a console if they can't meet the demand. I have no issue with the scalpers. Either you work hard to get a console or you pay someone who did pretty simple. I managed to get 1 ps5 and 3 xbox series x consoles not using bots.
Scalping multiple units is theft as the scalper buys up the stock to resell at their price. If that was the case Sony and Microsoft would just sell it at a higher price. Glad scalpers are going down.

It's not that these scalpers are re selling a few PS5's for a profit, its the fact that they are being completely and utterly greedy, hogging a vast majority and re selling them for a very unfair amount

Bro I almost gave in to the scalpers earlier this month but I still held out. I was actually kicking myself 4 not getting 1 for $760. I thought that was going to be the cheapest I would find. I saved for months to get $500 so it's sad that I had already started trying to save up atleast $300 extra hoping maybe next month I would find 1 for under $850 smdh. Luckily out of the blue on 12-21-2020 my cousin texted me at 7am & told me there were some for pick up at target. I still can't believe that I actually was lucky enough to get 1 for regular price…All my gamers stay strong!!!!! ✊🖥🎮🎧💯
