  1. This is absolutely underwhelming. They're basically not really aiming to add anything substantial. How about making a new client? Maybe some actual new gameplay additions? Geez, this is the least amount of hype I've had for any preseason.

  2. I hope riot takes this opportunity to make elder actually equally hard to solo as baron is. For how powerful of a buff that it is, it shouldn’t be able to be solo killed by every adc in the game and every bruiser/ assassin in the game that has some sustain.

  3. I am just waiting for the behavior changes. Riot should make so if you lose game fast you lose more lp than in a long game (win always gains the same amount). This would be a perfect chance to encourage people to keep playing even from behind. Also surrendering should have some sanctions because people are surrendering easily winnable games just because 1 lane is losing or they are tilted or it isn't worth the effort. The goal when playing from behind should be to come back and win not afk until surrendering is available. In cs you cant even surrender unless someone left the game and that someone is instantly banned (riot should take some notes).

    And maybe riot should start actually banning people when they afk, leave, etc., and not just say they will.

How I (a player of many games but designer of none) would do Strategic Bounties would be a portion of the gold difference between the 2 teams would be added as a Bounty to each hostile/neutral objective for the losing team. e.g. Blue is ahead by 10k, Red gets a 500G Bounty on every objective, split across the whole team (i.e. 100G each). It makes splitpushing a less risky strategy (you still help the team recover whilst running solo, as you either generate gold or pull more pressure).

    For the Legendary Item stuff, what I interpret is as is they want more Essence Reaver/Navori Quickblades/Abyssal Mask/Boots of Swiftness style items; a very good option on a few champions but not a 'best in slot' for many. E.g. ER, good for AD casters that can make use of crit, is not a must-buy or even good purchase on most ADCs (who don't cast enough to make good use of spellblade), or most bruisers (who need some survivability from all of their items), or Assassins (who only auto one or two times in their combo, so get almost nothing from crit). It's only good on a very few champs at the intersection of several categories, like Riven, Trynda, Sivir, Ezreal, Sivir, Xayah and Jhin (and even then, it isn't must buy; when did you last see an ER on Jhin…..).

  5. The Mythic Forge update was a failure imo. All the mythics having the same stats means all everyone is picking is whatever active is more op at the time, literally no other difference

  6. Ok, so we are literally receiving nothing that we really need for preseason. Like snowball, toxic behavior, in-game excessive healing, broken jungle role, more variety of items for every class, upgrades and buffs to old champion kits, fixing the client… Like, nothing really. This game is doomed.

  7. There should NOT be 100 comeback mechanics. If your team plays better you should win. Period. They should really work on systems that improve player game mechanics (while playing ranked games). If they can somehow train or teach people to get better at the game, it would be so much more fun. Even when you lose, you know you, as a team, deserved it, you all played your best. Nowadays, you know after 10-15 minutes that the game is over, laners int, laners give up, laners spam ff, laners have terrible mental, laners go afk, etc. If you have players that are actually better at the game, that they know what to do in what situation, you can all at least try to make it work… SO TRAIN THE PLAYER BASE TO BE BETTER PLAYERS. Maybe tips and tricks during games, personal rewards, strategy, I dont know, anything to make players better players. I feel like I play with silvers in high plat…

  8. why not make some more features that can appear in games? something like tft galaxies where you have some twist like new objective, acces to more items …
    and i hope for new healing solutions – instead of reducing enemy healing you can get % of healing they have for yourself but you cant build healing reduction
    and remove healing reduction from bramble and increase its dmg and it should aply to all physical attacks and make new healing reduction item granting hp shared for morello and thornmail
    and possibly 1 more item that grants magic resist + healing reduction.
    or just make lifeseal and omnivamp add similar to tenacity
    possibly split mythic bonuses – into mythic item bonus effects and runes providing stat bonuses
