I’ve had the PS5 for about a week now and I wanted to make a video about my first impressions. Also, I will answer the question of whether or not I will be getting rid of my Xbox Series X in favor of the PS5. I included some gameplay in the video as well so I hope you enjoy. But let me know what games you would like to see me play and also what videos you would like me to create regarding the PS5. The PS5 is the rule a great console and I can’t wait to use it even more.

  1. Love this thing! Miles morales is dope! Did you have ray trace enabled? Man I was playing hitman yesterday and the graphics are 🔥 you’re right about quick resume, it’s quicker than PS5 but access to some exclusive games is a nice compromise. Looking forward to a full review!

  2. I manged to get the XSX and PS5 at launch in the UK, lucky I know. Spending months with them now, infact even in the beginning the XSX has more going for it. XSX has tons more games optimised for it as for the ps5 you have 2 and they are spider-man, other games like ghost of Tsushima is not optimised just 60fps unlocked, thats why it still classed as a ps4 game on UI. And talking about the UI the ps5 is awful, the ps4 was much better and the XSX is more comfortable and customizable. To get the most out of my ps5 I'm having to play old games that are not optimised at all and the spider-man game's that cost me £70 to get both. Oh and a tip you can play spider-man (both) at 60fps With ray tracing on.
I will agree that the controller is much better on ps5 and the ssd for the spider-man games, but for backwards game's the XSX runs them faster.
At the moment the XSX has more next gen titles (optimised) than the ps5, and that for me is disgusting of sony not to have the exclusives done. And yes ps5 actually has next game's the God-awful godfall and demon souls, its just a shame there is not better ones at a sensible price.

  3. So I just snagged a PS5 today finally. I am going to return my Xbox Series X. Here is why. They are very similar, but xbox has game pass which I can use on my Alienware laptop and play most of xbox's games even exclusives. So for me I get the best of both worlds. At least that's the way I see it.

  4. Honestly, they are both really amazing consoles. I can never pick one over the other in terms of pure performance. You only pick one over the other based on which exclusive games for both consoles you like to play best, if you like all you simply get both. Great video

  5. I have both consoles and I like my Series X more for third party games while I use my PS5 for first party games. I love the quick resume feature of the Series X it’s literally a game changer. I also feel the Xbox controller is more comfortable but the PS5 controller has better features. Both are great consoles and you’re making a great purchase regardless of which you choose.

  7. Both are indeed great. PS 5 controller seems to be awesome, have to try it soon.
One thing I do not get though, is why people always claim that PS 5 has the (best) exclusives? Have a look at Xbox's platform and the 23 game studios currently owned. I would say that they will bring out more exclusives than the PS 5 in the forthcoming years? It is not just about GOW, Halo and Forza anymore.. That will change for sure!
