Im a sony fan, im an xbox fan. I believe they skimped. Shit, the hdmi 2.1 cable is worse than the hdmi cable I get from comcast. They def tried to cut some corners and it doesnt surprise me. Now does it really matter to me? Meh. Its always been common knowledge To me that the xsx is more powerful but then again i wouldnt be speaking on things that I have no clue about and posting them to the world. That would be embarrassing and foolish. Hope people learn their lessons. Dont be a dumbass.

So we've been getting outperformed by an even weaker more "frankensteined" system than most previously thought. Not sure that's a good thing.
We must not judge too harshly, people make mistakes all the time, especially when they are leaning towards their preferred system. Take RDX crew for example. Guys where in constant ecstasy talking how games will look and play much better right out of the gate due to "staggering" power difference, which wasn't quite the case as we all saw.
At the end of the day we can bang on about tera flops this rdna that. However sony sold more in every global market than the xbox. They are both made on China with very similar parts. So struggling to get parts affects both parties. Sony simply have that grip of providing the games people want.
Sony will probably release a PS5 Pro in 2023 or shortly after.

Not really a shock as I'm into hardware and basically knew this stuff already. Why I'm more interested in Xbox Series X.
Neither the PS5 or Series X are full RDNA 2. 99% of people don't seem to understand what full RDNA 2 actually means. Full RDNA 2 just means it has the full feature set that the creators intended. The Series X went with supposed full RDNA 2 but it isn't as it doesn't have infinity cache. And the PS5 didn't see some of the RDNA features as useful or could be improved upon, so they went with a customized RDNA. It's like a stock car and a customized car. The Series X is more like the stock car and the PS5 is the customized car. That's all it is.
Series X isn't full RDNA2 either. No Infinity Cache.
Series X owner since December, I played the Ps5 as my best friend has both. Not impressed, I’ll save my money for the PS5 Pro. I was super disappointed with the launch, and after actually playing it. I was thankful I spent my money on the next gen powerhouse. I get being loyal to the console of your choice, but don’t bash or sleep on Xbox. They actually blew Sony out the water this time.

Hysterical reading these comments. I guess people who bought into series x need to hang on to these stories as they not getting the games. There's certainly nothing at all at present to show any superiority in power for series x, but its early cycle i guess. I play on a 3090 pc and a PS5, as a gamer first and foremost, i believe that's the best option to play everything. Im ignoring the switch! By that, i mean i have one but its very dusty:) Never really understood why gamers get tribal over where they play em, but i guess those looking for a fight will find any reason.
I thought Sony always said they didn't have the proper rdna they put their own spin on it and have their own features but the Xbox did come with the full rdna from AMD but at the end of the day these consoles are not going to last as long as the Last consoles Generation
