Seen this is on Gamepass might try it out seeing I finally got a series x 👍. Gears hivebusters with the CX and the sonos Arc with atmos looks and sounds amazing. Great video mate
It’s a massive difference on your eyes playing it on this tv and with the next gen console. PS4 Pro still going on 30fps, really hurts your eyes when you go back. Crucible mode on 120 with the tv is the bomb.

Bought an LG CX after seeing your videos and paired it with my RTX 3080 gaming PC. This monitor is glorious at 4K 120hz with infinite blacks.
Not sure I'd play much destiny on an oled.. to many static huds = screen burn eventually.

I think back to my days of playing The Oregon Trail and Mystery House on the Apple ][e with green characters/letters and some VERY basic lines…and then I see something like this. Absolutely astonishing. I never thought we'd achieve this level of display technology and CPU/GPU computing power in my lifetime, and I'm "just" 44. If it gets any better, I may become even more convinced/paranoid that we are indeed living in a simulation. The simulation is telling me that this steak is juicy and delicious.

Destiny on an OLED? Not a good idea. If you’re anything like me you’ll sink 1000 hours or more into it and you’ll be rewarded for your troubles with some hefty burn-in in the lower left portion of your TV.
This game and Monster Hunter World were the main reasons I went with the Samsung Q95T. Of course the picture in darker scenes are better on the OLED, but that comes at a massive, massive cost.

I have a cx. What’s your settings please
What are your in game video settings? I have the cx. I had to run HGIG and tweak the hdr brightness to where the symbol on the far right was barley visible and left the black settings at default. Looks pretty good for me. The default for both settings made the game look too dark in some areas.

The in game hdr calibration is actually bugged. Bungie has acknowledged it. If you take time to play around with the brightness sliders it looks even better.

I find the LG CX a little dark in game mode on the ps5 so I switched it from console mode to pc mode and play in VIVID HDR seems better for me.

I'm still on the fence if I'm still getting lg cx, c1 or should I wait for sony x90j. Worried about the burn in issue especially for a ps5 aficionado. Any recommendation guys?

Hi mate. What frame-rate are you playing at? Might be a really good thing to note what happens if you set it at 120Hz. Which is probably what many people are buying these TV’s for (in relation to the PS5 and Xbox). Maybe even review the differences between playing at 60hz vs 120hz, especially as to quality. 🙌🏾

I've been so tempted to buy the CX, especially now with the 10% off. I think I'm gonna hold out on the A80J or maybe even A90J come November. Will you be testing those TVs or do you just focus on LG?
