  1. I definitely prefer the Xbox Series X. I think hands down the Xbox Series X is a far better console than the PS5. I actually think you think the Xbox Series X is superior as well. 🤣🤣🤣

  2. Great review man.

Completely agree on the PS4 controller design (don't have a PS5), I much prefer the Xbox controller in terms of thumbstick placement and overall comfort. I'm 6'1" with larger hands, and what drives me nuts is the fact that occasionally my thumbs will hit each other with the PS4 controller, it's rare but it happens, and it really bugs me when it does. My solution was to buy an X One Adapter for one of my Xbox Elite controllers so I can use it with my PS4, works great and it's still wireless. Not sure if they've updated it for PS5 though.

Personally I made the choice to go Xbox Series X after being PS4 for the bulk of last gen but started moving to Xbox in the last couple years of it. The reasons? I don't care that much for the Sony exclusives, most of my real life friends mainly game on Xbox, and I fully expect Sony's exclusives to be on PC eventually. Another big reason is the way Xbox integrates with my PC experience, and the mobile experience etc… etc… and yeah Game Pass Ultimate. I can move seamlessly between devices with so many games, and damn that's just so good. IMHO Sony has a lot of catching up to do on that front.

Side note: Had a good laugh that you have the Xbox light on and the Series X desktop up through the entire review 😂

  3. I have to respect the ps5 for its approach. But I personally like the xbox mostly because I play PC so all I have to do to play games on console is to subscribe to gamepass ultimate and even some of my game will be cross save. And with cross play I can play with my friends regardless if we play on xbox, nintendo, or PC. But like I said before I respect ps5 games one of my favorite games is God of War 2018.

  4. I love the PS5’s design, but I can’t wait to see what the PS5 Slim looks like when it comes out, most likely in two years in 2023 like usual. It’s the prime example of what Sony has aimed for with their PlayStation hardware design philosophy since the PS3: alien, unique, & sleek. The size can be unwieldy and it’s definitely big, but I feel like Sony will hone the design more with the Slim when the time comes, like they always have. Aside from the PS4. The OG PS4 >>> PS4 Slim & PS4 Pro in terms of design.

  5. Great video man I really enjoyed it! I’ve got both consoles and I’m really enjoying both but your gripes with the PS5 are the exact same gripes I have with the Xbox and I’ve always been an Xbox guy. Randomly I have to unplug my Xbox in order for a game to start. It’s been really really aggravating and it makes me want to get a PC more and more now that I have a PS console (haven’t had one since PS1). So far I have def enjoyed the PS5 more tho because I’ve never played a game like TLOU and honestly, it was the most enjoyable story I’ve played since the Halo and Gears days. Makes me feel really dumb for ever being a console fanboy cuz I’ve missed out on such a really good series like TLOU. I do wish PS’s backwards compatibility was like Xbox’s tho because I’d love to play really old PS games that I may have missed out on without having to get PS Now or just not having it at all in general.

  6. After having the ps5 and using it for awhile i can surmise that ngs's summary and opinions are pretty consistent with mine and that I would say that if you like playstation games or the controller or your friends are on it or whatever is the investment reason for you gaming, get a ps5. And the same thing goes for xbox this year wejust gotta wait for the games to come out so that we can get a better picture. Ps5 and xbox are both great this year guys we should be really greatful!

  7. I know the lack of next gen games has been a big talking point but I really appreciate being able to play older titles since I've skipped the PS4/xb1 generation of games. Been playing Jedi fallen order with gamepass and it's been a blast

  8. @NeoGameSpark you know that adaptive triggers could be turn off for competitive games ? I don't see any harm to have the feature…

  9. I love the Ps5. It looks so good next to my tv. It’s quiet and fast. The controller is such an upgrade to me. They actually have backwards compatibility, which I didn’t think they would do. Mine doesn’t get hot at all even after gaming for hours. Maybe I just got lucky with my system. But I love it. I love the series X too. But I’ve noticed the loading times are faster on the Ps5. But both systems are amazing. I think they’ll both make their UI’s better with time. They both have their merits. Both are quiet, fast and no overheating.
