The DLC on the state of play is PS5 only. Ouch.
I feel like we forget the series s console is only 300. That is just insane for the price. I really do not get the hate
Alot of people need to wake up about the S. It has the same CPUs and RDNA 2 features and velocity architecture. It just is targeting 1080p not 4k. It's a impressive peace of tech.
I feel that the State of Play was a decent 6/10. I didn’t like that they showed lots of games that have been at previous State of Plays. Still better than Nintendo Direct.

I love my Xbox Series S so far. That Final Fantasy VII remake was fun when i played on ps4 and i'm excited about the new Yuffie dlc. I hope thats not exclusive to just the ps5 version. Don't wanna have to get that console for one dlc. lol
Also still hoping Square Enix announces an Xbox port of FF7 remake later this year. Would love to replay the game on that console and get the platinum/complete gamerscore again.
If ps5 had more memory better controllers and gamepass, it would be a better console. As of now it's just dull…
What’s sad is that I bought into Anthem and I regret it. But I have learned. Done with preordering any game going forward.
As time goes on, Series S will shine and show its true potential. Absolutely incredible to see titles squeezing out 4K 30 or 60 FPS.
That State of Play was worse than that Nintendo Direct. (imo)

If Nintendo put on a Direct of the same quality (in fact they did in early 2018, just ports and 1 or 2 announcements), people would say it was good. People expecting more don't deserve more. What part of Indies > AAA don't you understand?

I dont like the fact returnal has arcade like gameplay. I was hoping it was more grounded. What's the point of having a middleage woman when she moves like a super hero in their 20s?
I see XSS as a great deal now, specifically because of the dev mode and emulators you can put on it. On the long run I am afraid it will hold back the XSX and the further the generation goes on the more the XSS will struggle in my opinion. Hope a cool limited edition comes so I can pick it up 🙂

Nope lol. Too many games that are coming to other consoles or just ports for ps5 we already know about crash 4 and ff7 remake of course ff7 remake will come to ps5. Deathloop learned it's a time exclusive very little reason to buy a ps5 honestly I don't care lol just saying what most fanboys are saying lol I don't care about console wars I want to play rachet and clank rift apart for s5 but can't find a ps5 in stores for about another year the goes for the new Xbox consoles probably won't be able to get a Xbox series X for almost a year.
Fairly disappointed with Anthem Next being canceled. They have so much promise that it would be fixed and that they were gonna work solely on Anthem next and now they just abandon the game all together. Game never got a single update from the whole hype they made about anthem next and they just crushed it. But what can you do when a game with a good premise and a lot of promise comes out lackluster as hell and the company doesn’t care to put the work into fixing it.
Nintendo's direct was presented far better,and it's games showcase, while not great was definitely much better than Sony's state of play. IF YOU take back seat and think on it with honest head,BOTH PS5/XBOX SERIES X as it stands now there's no reason to buy them,and selling way they are. Vast majority of games are available on last generation consoles. Now exclusives are very thin on the ground. Nintendo Switch on other hand blows them both out of water as of now for old and new exclusives. Although financially smart move by sony PlayStation 5 games will now be coming to Pc in big way. In console generatios before before most none hardcore gamer choose as first gaming device between that of PS/XBOX, then Nintendo if as third choice as regards to consoles. Now that's dramatically changed. SWITCH FIRST THEN PS/XBOX second. I AS ALWAYS BUY ALL OF THEM DAY ONE. DECEMBER I Celebrate my 50th gaming year.

Hey Jaywood in case ya haven't read the article from The Verge the new Chief of Studios at EA says they're going to allow their studios to make what they want on top of the Anthem Cancellation and announced a new Game Studio, Full Circle
Returnal and Deathloop were the highlights of State of Play for me personally. As a Risk Of Rain 2 fan, Returnal looks awesome
About the siwtch, 720p screen but cabable of 60fps on more demanding games or 30fps on next gen. A dock that actually as a GPU on it so it can do combine with the switch 1080p 60fps on next gen games, a game slot on it. And cheaper joycons without some expencive useless features
