I'll be honest I only watch movies from vudu on my console. I just come here because this guy does amazing work with great information on a variety of TVs which I think is interesting as hell.
I hardly notice any difference in the frame skipping.
I would not buy either of the Players for at least one year, because history has taught us that all the video game players take at least one year to work out all the kinks AND catch up with the latest specifications on speed and color and depth.
@HDTVTest, do you know (or anyone here) if the Xbox One X has the same issue? If not, it may provide hope that the XSX will get that issue ironed out eventually. Thanks!

I personally think the reason that the xbox delivers lower performance and o ly 10 bit rather than 12 is due to it being the app from the Xbox One X and hasn't been fully upgraded/ optimised for the Series X
